(RTTNews) - Business sentiment survey data from Germany is due on Monday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.
At 2.00 am ET, Statistics Norway publishes unemployment data for December.
In the meantime, foreign trade figures from Sweden and capacity utilization from Turkey are due.
At 4.00 am ET, the ifo Institute is slated to release Germany's business confidence survey results. The business sentiment index is expected to rise to 84.9 in January from 84.7 a month ago.
Also, unemployment data is due from Poland.

U.S. Jobless Claims Unexpectedly Climb To Nearly Four-Year High
First-time claims for U.S. unemployment benefits unexpectedly increased in the week ended September 6th, according to a report released by the Labor Department on Thursday. The report said initial jobless claims climbed to 263,000, an increase of 27,000 from the previous week's revised level of 236,000. Economists had expected jobless claims to edge down to 235,000.
