Sensex, Nifty Marginally Lower In Early Trade

(RTTNews) - Indian shares were slightly lower on Friday, after having risen sharply in the previous session on dovish RBI pause.
The benchmark BSE Sensex was down 99 points, or 0.1 percent, at 80,884 in early trade after snapping an eight-day losing streak on Wednesday. The broader NSE Nifty index dipped 24 points, or 0.1 percent, 24,812.
Hero MotoCorp traded lower despite reporting 8 percent year-on-year (YoY) sales growth in September 2025.
TVS Motor declined 1.5 percent despite reporting its highest-ever quarterly sales.
Sammaan Capital plunged more than 5 percent. Global investment company International Holding Co will be investing Rs 8,850 crore to acquire a 43.5 percent stake in the company.
United Spirits rose about half a percent. The Bombay Court has set aside water charge demands of Rs 443 crore against the company.
InterGlobe Aviation gained 1 percent after announcing resumption of services to mainland China.
CSB Bank rose 1 percent after providing its Q2 business update.
Waaree Energies jumped 3 percent. The company's board has approved capacity expansion plans across its clean energy businesses with a total capital expenditure of about Rs 8,175 crore.
