I would probably answer that I invest in different things. If they asked for more details, I'd make a joke about it being complicated and change the subject.

Forex trading is easy to explain, if you can't explain it well, it is an indicator that you have yet to truly understand it.
Protect against loses and the profits take care of themselves.

This is a really tough question. Much tougher than forming my trading plan.
Well, when anyone asks me what I do for a living, I do not directly tell them that I trade forex. Instead I use sophisticated terms in a full compound sentence. Most don’t ask further, Lol!

I do not wish to discuss this very much misunderstood activity of trading in social settings or with new friends I don’t know well just yet. I am looking for some kind of friendly answer that is specific and uninteresting enough not to arise any more questions. Saying i work from home doesnt solve the issue, because it is immediately followed by “what do you do” question. I don’t want to lie completely, just want to avoid the trading part.
