greetings
today I had the daily goal and then keep on trading to test some more new patterns.
also had a very strange experience.
I had 3 orders with exactly same TP . when price reach that level 2 of them has closed and 1 of them has NOT.
next step is I will add a extra order close algo that will check the TP level and in the case of the same situation EA will handle the trades.

when trader set TP ans SL from MT4 side those are also setted on broker server side. So logicly there should not be a problem as I have metioned above post. If it would be only on MT4 side then MT4 execution queue could cause the problem.
this problem shows that also broker server has a queue(which is normal) but it is not locking on and executing one by one.

not so much. I reduced it from 10$/pip to 5$/pip😉

after I had coded the keyboard I start using second machine for emails and other internet actions. But strangly my lot size and some other parameter were changing.
at last I found the reason. I was using the calculator on coded machine😲😲

Still, $5000/ $5 = 1000 😲 I usually trade size that is 1/10000 of my account per pip to 1/5000 per pip. Are you going to do it manually?

yes. _somehow semiautomated. I execute trades from keyboard. the reason is this to prevent from oldtick, slippage and high spread. EA gets the execution command from keyboard and execute it when the situation is good for the trade. with that I also can monitor the slippage.

yeah, me too. This is the reason I cannot trade well more than one instrument cause I have to watch carefully how price moves tick by tick when making decision.

currency has one advantage rather then Oil which is I can monitor 3 angular price movement between EURUSD/GBPUSD/EURGBP. this is one of the most important point. So I need to watch 3 pairs at the same time. this is the dificoult part.

Oil is a different instrument and behaves differently from currencies. this is why you won't see many grid traders trading oil 😉

GRID is not a trading system. pro traders use GRID to enter trade with a average price. which is logic. It is not possible to know how much price will pullback. at that point they set a entry point and enter. then in the case of a reverse move they open some more trades and average the price with an exit strategy or level or %.
GRID == SUICIDE.

Anyway, a lot of guys use grid in FX market but I have not heard of anyone trading this way oil or other commodities...

the reason is the leverage. commodities has low leverage and GRID can not be traded with that.
