How many of you have made money by either selling a system, or getting investors, by making your performance public on this site?

How many has published a working system?
I think the ratio is 0:0.
Almost no one performed and a few guys got taken.

A bit confused. A lot of the systems published here are profitable.
Who got taken? You mean ripped off?

A lot of systems here are "Demo" profitable. Demo profit does not pay the bills.
I've never personally did any transactions mainly because I use this site as a more graphical analysis tool and to check out other members ideas...but I have gotten requests via. PM to which I always decline anyways.
...but I've read through quite a few people's systems and there were some sales taking place...and the only reason I know that is because the buyer usually come back to the same system to say "Hey, your EA is BS and I've lost money!".

HA! Yes, there are many scammers in this market, unfortuantly. Does anybody try to sell signals? Through Tradency, etc...? Just wondering what kind of income can be generated by this?

The systems here look profitable. I doubt the majority are. I think very few are really profitable long term.

there are some great blogs and traders websites that do good intraday. I post profitable trades on my blog and on youtube. Anybody with a real profitable system will NOT sell the golden goose. However they will freely give you some golden eggs. I don't sell anything and I'm NEVER going to give away my secrets that has taken me 16+ years to develop. Since I trade for a living posting profitable trades is how I eat. I manage money for private investors so posting trades is how I raise accounts. However I just found out about this site so I may or may not use it for that purpose.

You will soon notice myfxbook is mainly used by traders, less by serious investors...

Hey guys...I'm new here but love the idea of this site...I'm starting with a demo account for a couple of months...then go live...I want to get the feel for how managed accounts work logistically...if anyone has some comments as to the slippage etc... would love to hear your feedback.

it amazes me when people talk about others bn scammer and now i can read about someone trading for the past 16yrs my first question is when was forex market deregulated for small investors like us? and with 16rs behind i dont expect you on a site like this

I have been trading commodity futures since 1989, as such i have been trading 24 years, but i am quit new to forex, only a few years.
What i like about these sites is, that i can get some new input, and find out what is moving around.
By the way, i would never ever buy a system/EA from any other person, why would i? Trading is not about EA's, but about market knowledge, which is the only thing you can not have from automated trading.
Keep it simple!

That's interesting. I hope to know more.
I don't actually have any idea can you get here your investors or not, but I think for developing your skills it's a good thing, that others trader can monitor you. And you can may be learn something from others mistakes.

I use myfxbook to analyze my accounts. I discuss trading strategies with fellow traders and yes, I do attract investors by showcasing my systems to them from this platform.
I do have few small clients from this website as well. However, larger clients come from personal communication with clients through one-on-one meet or phone/email conversation (I use myfxbook link for trade showcase on website and emails.)
For me it has been fruitful.

I use myfxbook to monitor my managed account performance, also to to provide reports to my managed account clients, and at the same time to verify my results so no one can claim that my results are fake.
