open a cents account with 100 000$ (so * 100) = 10 000 000cents, then put any martingale on it with a very low risk (so 0.01 lot size).
you'll have less than 1% of DD... for the 100% of profit... you'll have to wait a little ;)

I had 10 EURGBP Sell orders and it reached 30% SL and closed them all in loss. After the 30% loss, the EA opened two more EURGBP Sell orders now!
At least I know the 30% SL is working but everyone needs to understand this EA carries inherent risk due to its grid strategy.
I wished the EA was able to take the opposite side as the up trend becomes firmer and stronger.

what have you set your initial_lot at? 0.02 or 0.04?

Regarding the free margin was not low i don't know why the trades closed :S ..let me see what is the final result

i just checked. your opening size is 0.04 on the losing trades. on a 5K account 0.04 opens at 0.20 which is your case.
thats why the EA has hit SL

Alex, We could use 0.04 if we only use one pair for trading right?! Only if you trade E/U and E/G we are instructed to set the inital_lot to 0.02...

yes but it increases the risk. thats why we have broken down into 2 pairs with lower lot size.

Hi Askew8,
this EA needs a lverage of 1:300, in order to survive.Today I lost 248,- euro's because of hitting the stoploss. I used a leverage of 1:500, but could not change it, because of all the trading activity and hoping that the stoploss will not been meanwhile hit.
Also I changed now the lotsize to 0.02 on both pairs.
It happened with a loss of 248,- euro loss, an expensive lesson. Still I think this EA has good qualities.

I too am using 1:500 but I am only taking in 1/3 of the risk that BM is taking. My levels are at .03 on both pair but I have an account of 4500+. My SL was nowhere near being triggered and now I am seeing a decline in the pair.

I fully agree with you, that the EA should be able to take the opposite side as the up trend becomes firmer and stronger. Now the EA is trading with a "reversal "strategy . The advantage is, that you are in the trade, but have to wait if all the reversals will be won with a profit. So in a way it can be risky !
What is the opinion of Blue Monkey / Alex about this ?

The EA should be able to trade with the trend when this trend is becoming firmer and stronger. Now the EA is trading with a "reversal "strategy . The advantage is, that you are in the trade, but have to wait if all the reversals will end with a profit. So in a way it can be risky !

Hi Alex,
Your EA has already caused 30% loss in my account and why your account is not showing loss???? It has closed all trades in loss when floating loss exceeded 30%. This EA need to be tested rigorously other wise it seems a scrape EA!!!!
Lat time you checked this account and said your EA is having only 15% floating loss but now your EA closed all loosing trades at 30% floating loss. So this is an accepted risk! whereas the reward is not at all achieved.
