I enter a postion based on my analysis. Criteria for taking a trade are purely technical. I do take Fundamentals into consideration to plan my trade and its exits. During a trade if i see that a profitable trade could get converted to a loss, i, immediately exit. In other words i prefer a smaller profit then to have a loss. This also means that i am mostly monitoring the market personally since i do not use automated systems. The automation that i use is for stops and trailiing stops. My systems are simple mostly using trend lines, moving averages, RSI and retracements. Trading style is conservative targeting 30% returns annually. Acceptable drawdown is 3% on a 50,000 USD account and above. On a 2000 to 3000 USD Account acceptable drawdown is 10 to 15%.
