ChipMOS Technologies February Revenues Down 31.5% Year-over-year

(RTTNews) - Semiconductor company ChipMOS Technologies Inc. (IMOS) reported Friday that revenue for the month of February declined 31.5 percent to NT$1.44 billion or $46.8 million from NT$2.10 billion or $68.3 million in the prior-year quarter. It also increased 8.1 percent sequentially from January.
The company said this represents the first month over month revenue increase since June 2022 as it continues to navigate macroeconomic weakness and work with customers on inventory adjustments.

Semiconductor company ChipMOS Technologies Inc. (IMOS) reported Tuesday that revenue for the fourth quarter declined 31.0 percent to NT$4.69 billion or $152.5 million from NT$6.79 billion or $221.0 million in the prior-year quarter. It also decreased 10.8 percent sequentially from the third quarter.

German Manufacturing Orders Rise Unexpectedly
German manufacturing orders increased in April confounding fears that higher tariffs by the US administration would hit the factory sector, official data revealed Thursday. Factory orders rose 0.6 percent month-on-month in April, following a revised 3.4 percent rise in March, Destatis said. This was the second consecutive month of growth. Orders were expected to fall 1.0 percent.
