Loonie Mixed Ahead Of BoC Decision
(RTTNews) - The Bank of Canada will announce its interest rate decision at 10 am ET Wednesday. The central bank is expected to keep policy rate steady at 5 percent.
Ahead of the announcement, the loonie traded mixed against its major opponents. While it eased against the euro, it rose against the rest of major rivals.
The loonie was worth 108.47 against the yen, 1.4644 against the euro, 1.3568 against the greenback and 0.8933 against the aussie at 9:55 am ET.
