The EUR/USD pair bounced from the 14 years low at 1.0340 and today is consolidation around 1.0400 level. Yet the pair is vulnerable to further downward slide towards the support at 1.0335.

During the last three sessions the EUR/USD pair is marking lower lows and lower highs, which is encouraging the bears. Today the pair hit 14 years low at 1.0340 and slightly rebounced later, but yet remains vulnerable. Support is located at 1.0340 (today’s low) and 1.0300 (physiological level). Resistance is seen at 1.0450 (20-day EMA) and 1.0495 (100-day EMA).

EUR/USD surprised with a surge to 1.0653 this morning. The last trading day seems to be quite voaltile and interesting. Currently market price is 1.0545. If the pair succeed to close above 1.0560, next bulls target is seen at 1.0660.

The freshly released US macro data dragged the US dollar slightly down. The EUR/USD pair moved higher to reach 1.0493, but couldn’t surpass the key level at 1.0500. As long as the pair is staying below this level, bears dominate the trend.

The EUR/USD pair again is seen below 1.0400 level. The US macro data relesed today was quite disappointing but nevertheless the greenback paired gains. As long as the pair hold below this level the retest of the yearly low at 1.0351 becomes very possible.

The economic calender this week is not offering any significant events that could stir the markets. Also along with the Holidays Season we usually witness uninspired trading. Currently the EUR/USD is tradingly slightly changed comparing with last week and is now testing the resistance at 1.0460.

The EUR/USD closed the week at 1.0454. RSI is located slightly below mid-lines while stochastic is moving to negative territoty. Both indicators do not confirm an upward movement. First support is seen at 1.0420 and next at 1.035. Resistances are placed at 1.0500 and 1.0550.

Ahead of the holidays and along with decreasing liquidity the EUR/USD pair settled in narrow range today. The pair was seen very weak at the beginning of the week and on Tuesday reached lowest point for the last 14 years at 1.0351. The short-term resistance is seen at 1.0520 (100-day moving average) and higher at 1.0665 (late November and 14th December highs). Looking to downwards support is now located at 1.0365 (15th December low) and lower at 1.0320.

The single currency was trading slightly elevated against the US dollar during yesterday’s session and recovered some losses from earlier in the week. Although the increase was limited at 1.0498, the euro managed to add 13 pips to 1.0435. The 50-day MA acted as resistance and RSI failed to move in positive territory. Long-term attitudes remain negative targeting the support at 1.0365.

The single currency broke the two-day downward slope on Wednesday amid the relatively positive data on consumer confidence in the eurozone. The euro gained 38 pips to a closing price of 1.0423. The EUR/USD remains below the moving averages, but RSI recovered and 1.0365 remained of great importance acting as key support, which now gives more confidence to the bulls.

During yesterday’s trading the euro lost value against the dollar for a second day. The single currency depreciated by 15 pips to a closing price of 1.0386, marking a new near 14-year low at 1.0351. The sentiment remains bearish. Support is now located at 1.0365 and lower at 1.0320. Resistance is seen at 1.0520 and 1.0665.

Following the Fed’s decision the EUR/USD pair tumbled and marked the lowest level since 2003 during yesterday’s session. The pair bottomed at 1.0366 and failed to recover to 1.0500 level. Current market price is 1.0389. A weekly close below the 1.0400 are will set next bears target at 1.0200.

The single currency was boosted by the OPEC matters as the US dollar suffered along with the deal to reduce the global oil glut. Following the announcement by ECB the single currency recorded its biggest drop against the dollar since June. As expected the bank is extending the program of quantitative easing, but surprised markets with lower monthly volume of purchases. The EUR/USD pair wiped out 139 pips to 1.0612. The price went below the moving averages, while RSI is losing ground. Attitudes remain negative and break of 1.0580 will contribute to further decline.

The posistive GDP data in the euro zone couldn’t support enough the euro during yesterday’s trading and session closed 47 pips lower to 1.0716. Currently the EUR/USD is trading sideways above 1.07 mark. A break above 1.0746 would lead the pair to test 1.08 levels. Support is seen at 1.0694.
