@GEnuistrade Again, I can only agree that the correct mindset is as important as the strategy itself, or even more so.I know for sure that I do not have the necessary ""killer-instinct mindset"" which is why I trade only by EAs, of course, understanding their limitations which limitations are still smaller than my own.

@togr I agree that it should, however, as long as these scammers/spammers can open new MyFxBook accounts with different user names even MyFxBook cannot do much about them. They are part of life as parasites are also part of Earth's ecosystem...

@GEnuistrade You are absolutely right with your insightful post. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.Although I would not be happy with 5% average monthly profit with -25% max. DD, nevertheless, these metrics would be borderline acceptable for me.The reason I have started this thread - exactly 4 years ago in February of 2013 - was to see whether this huge "think tank" - called MyFxBook - would be able to trigger at least ONE trader to show a stable solid non-Martingale strategy performance without a crippling drawdown. I have started this thread mainly from ""academic interest...

Well, if something had happened once it usually happens again.Unfortunately for you, it was not that ""thrilling"" this time I guess...It also shows that the ""human factor"" is one of the major risk factors and best to be avoided by automated trading.

As a somewhat more seasoned futures and forex trader I disagree, as demo trading has no stakes at all whatsoever and so the trader does not get even the slightest idea how does it feel to trade with REAL MONEY. So the very important psychological aspect is completely missed.Also he/she may get the very false idea that the same strategy will work out in live trading the same way as in demo trading.Just for the above 2 reasons I suggest even to a novice traders to open a VERY SMALL (even just $10) CENT ACCOUNT and to trade with REAL money and in REAL trading environment to avoid self-deceit and ...

You are very welcome, Yurii!I do my best to protect traders/investors from scammers and scam brokers FOR YEARS as I have been a victim of them myself. I have already paid the ""tuition fees"" and so I feel that the right thing to do is putting my experience and knowledge in the service of other traders/investors on MyFxBook who have been rewarding my ""protective services"" with their Vouches for years.

You are right, however, unfortunately this ""push effect"" will last only for seconds, maximum a few minutes then the market equilibrium will get the price back where it was.It means that those traders whose orders arrive the LAST will have significant slippages on their orders, and so their profits will be larger and their losses will be bigger.

@TiffanyK Well, it sounds good, but one cannot expect it as a FREE service and to ""unlimited"" number of ""unexperienced traders"" as eventually the market liquidity could not absorb all the volume created by these ""unexperienced traders"".Although it might be hard to believe, occasionally I already run into liquidity issues by managing 10+ investor accounts with the same automated Asian session scalper strategy, i.e. actually my EAs' orders are occasionally moving some thinner liquidity pairs even though just for seconds and 1-...

Very true! Trading is a NEGATIVE SUM GAME.According to statistics the total losses of losing traders is about 5x MORE than the total gains accumulated by profitable traders.In other words: About 80% of all funds lost by losing traders precipitate at brokers, market makers and liquidity providers...

@aeronthomas The 3rd EA from FerruFx is not an Asian session scalper. In addition to the above 3 EAs I am also running two other new Asian sessions EA's which are in beta-testing phase.This is a HYBRID account, so its overall performance is NOT a reflection of any individual strategy.

@theHand Well, FSCS DID PAY innocent clients after the SNB announcement related CHF flash crash, e.g. victims of Alpari UK:http://www.financemagnates.com/forex/brokers/fscs-distributed-51-3m-alpari-uk-clients-repaid-negative-balances-920k/So apparently they have NOT changed the rules in 2015 which is a more recent event than the mentioned one in 2008... That is all I can say.I am not here to argue about it either, but being a REAL victim a ""regulated broker's"" disappearance with $500k+ segregated client funds, FSCS is still better FOR ME than keeping funds at a non-in...

After all due diligence go with an FCA regulated broker. Why?Simply because of the 50,000 GBP FSCS insurance which comes automatically with the FCA regulation, should the broker take off with ALL segregated clients funds on a nice sunny day and go for a life-long luxury vacation on an exotic island.(FPA is full of such sad horror stories and I was also a victim of such a broker, although he is not vacationing anywhere, but waiting for his court trial in Toronto...)
