Well, I live in Thailand more than I live anywhere else I suppose. And the generalisation you make is quite offending, and I'm not even Thai. Fact is, it's more a reflection of your values, than it is of Thai values.

It's on his old site. Open your eyes, he says so in the first few lines and the old site has a break down by years. And why should he show people or earn the extra income? He's got nothing to prove. He can sit for the rest of his life sipping beer looking at his water buffalo without having to bother with other peoples bullshit. Like what you're doing here. I've made friends over the years on various forums which ultimately translated into real world friendships. I travel a lot. And I mean a lot as in a couple of maxi passports later, and as I went I made a point of looking up my online fx friends. Malcolm lives in Thailand now and we used to have fairly regular mountain bike / beer sessions till he moved to another village. So this is not just a guess....

@CaptainVita If you want to meet dependable Thai's it would help if you stop hanging around places like Pattaya, the bars and girls that come with them. For **** sake, what do you expect if you hang around areas dedicated to sex tourism ?Plenty of really good Thai folks out there. Just not where you like to hang out. @HammoRen Paying the bills is just a baseline. But someone who can't pay their bills from trading can hardly claim to be a professional trader.

Not true Guru.I know quite a few people who only trades for a living, including one enterprising fellow who has been earning a living trading Oanda's API for the last decade. And when I say know, I mean as in I had beers with them. In Singapore and Thailand. AAs I said, they draw living money from the trading accounts. That's how you tell if someone is a pro or not.

Regular withdrawels. If someone is truely a pro they will have to use the trading account to pay bills. Simple as that.

Pull an ostrich if you want. Worry about one of the smallest economies in Europe. But take note that it's not about Europe or Greece. It's about the world, Greece is just the first domino to fall. Rest of Europe, US and even China by the looks of it is right behind it.

Unfortunately you're wrong. Both Russia and US have already stated they will use nukes offensively. US drew up plans, Russia responded in kind. This is of course very different to the cold war era stance of MAD where the plan was only to fire once the other's missiles were in the air. @togr Careful what you hope for mate. Some of the possible outcomes is the end of NATO and Russian involvement in Europe. Central banks going to want to try maintain their failing financial system in the face of new competition. It can get very ugly, as in WW III ugly, very quickly. Whatever happens in Greece is also the template for the rest of the western hemisphere.This whole thing scares the heck out of me. I've started planting food. And brushed up on Bitcoin. It's not about Greece, it's about what follows Greece.

The other thought around this, we need to remember Cyprus was a practice run for bail-in's. Within 3 months after that most western countries changed their laws to do the same.
