Tough love then..They like, they try..They no like..They no try as easy and simple as that.My view on things changed a bit since a few weeks ago. @togr If you look a bit back into this thread you will see, I mentioned that I purposely set to private to prevent malicious activity but would gladly open for a short period for anybody interested. Though, many investors will be satisfied with the "advanced statistics".As for the negative account, random mistakes. First there was an incident where my notebook's (very old)cpu was not powerful enough to run 3 terminals - I have moved it to my I7 desktop, which is more than capable.Then stupid me, entered trades on the desktop which defaulted to the .10 lot size, not the .01 I wan...

Nope, not full auto. Trend following system is manual (and will always be) plus then this EA.Absolutely correct. Exits are much more important than entries. I am still working on improving my exits, atm I sometimes have to watch perfectly good winners turn to losers and hit SL, it is very difficult to allow that. Oh reverse engineering might be easy as the EA uses a bigger lot size as the manual, and that can be filtered. I would rather not take that risk.

I asked for a simple withdrawal and he replied that I didn't understand myfxbook and was blocked.. Newcomers please always insist on seeing a withdrawal before investing.. Some dodgy brokers can help facilitating this so try getting confirmation of a withdrawal at a reputable mainstream broker..

I said I have SUCH EAs.. Not YOURS. Yes, you are right.. I gave up so long ago that I forgot how it worked.. It didn't have a set TP only a TS which you could set when to kick in. Then you could also set the hard stop to something ridiculous like 500 pips or a percentage of equity loss.. If this ridiculous stop is hit then it will take months to recover.. But good luck to you..

I have a couple such EAs. All it takes is to remove the SL and put the TP very low (like the 1.5pip we see here) and I can also come up with such a backtest. The problem is...when your EA takes a wrong trade (and it will) you have no stop. Let's say, you manually stop it at 50 pip loss, you then need a 30+ winning trades to make up for that one loss..

Agree with above poster.. Only I read that only 2% make it and the other 98% pump new money in all the time. The idea of becoming armchair millionaires by spending a couple of minutes in front of screens is very popular, and always promoted by vendors of software, forex books or courses...Of course many fall into that trap, but only realize it was a trap after they bought/funded whatever and lost all.
