Lots of programs and even other EA's connect to servers for verification or to check for updates but those don't get flagged.I've written Client/server apps in .NET C# and have had no problems so I wonder what is in your code that it is getting flagged?

That's all I used to use was Zone Alarm, but I had several times where internet viruses and adware would disable Zone Alarm and infect my computer. McAffee came free with my new computer and I find that it catches a lot more stuff and has better realtime protection, esp. blocking junk from websites. Also I have a 64 bit OS and at the time Zone Alarm was not 64 bit compatible.

Have you guys noticed that the FGB account has not been updated for more then 36 hours? What's up with this?Also, has anyone gotten any feedback from FGB about the Trojan in the License Manager? Even when I install with McAffee off, the realtime protection always finds it and deletes the file. But even without the License Manager file the EA still works, but I bet if I needed to change my account number then the License Manager would probably not work.

It's because of this terrible ranging market. The faster and more consistant the market moves and the longer the trends the more FGB trades.The thing where FGB keeps some trades open in case of a reversal is a gamble but sometimes it does pay off. They have closed the 3rd trade after 10 hours for a big loss of -54.8 pips. But the last two FGB has kept open and now the price has been going down. Specifically designed to trade only a few per week??? Where did you get that idea? That is absolutely not the case. There is nothing in the design that limits the amount of trades per week. Just do some decent backtesting and you will see that it will trade anywhere from a few times per week, to dozens of times, to even hundreds of times. I tested a 2 ½ week period in May that I posted the results on this forum (on May 20th) that showed it trading over 300 times in one week. Sorry if you misunderstood that- there is no set file. What I was saying is that we need the author of FGB to give us .set files that are optimized settings for FGB to work better in these market conditions. I've done some backtesting that shows that different settings in the basic version can make a huge difference in this market. But I'm in no position to choose what the best settings are, because they may be perfect for this month but bad for the next. No, it's not the power of hindsight, and it has nothing to do with breaking out of a range. Also turning the bot off is not an easy option. Most of these big market moves are when I'm in bed. I can't babysit the bot all night. And it has nothing to do whether I know the market is trending or not. I want the trends and without the big trends this bot will *NOT* work. uugh... It's really late here. In one of my posts above I said we are in a very long bear market..... um, I meant Bull market.I just look and see that we just broke though resistance to a new daily, weekly and monthy high of 1.4546.9 this is the end of the 12th hour with my broker- the start of 7am et. If you could add one of the many good support and resistance indicators freely available (I love and use the FractalSandR - and filter your trades with it, then you could dramatically reduce your losses. I don't want to promote breaking of any rights on how we are allowed to use the indicator as I am not sure as to what those rights are, but If we own the product does that forbid any of us that know MQL to use the FGB indicator in our own ea's?If we bought the product, and we don't share any ea's we make from the indicator- is that ok?Because I have been thinking for a while to do this so I can add my own logic and to put the indicator to better use by putting it on autopilot so I don't have to stare at my computer all day.

Damn. I just wrote a ton about the Compuforex Trail ea, but when I tried to upload my .set file I got an error. I guess you can only attach images. Anyway the bottom line is that it works awesome with the default settings- at least with the version I use 1.1. I get all the profits of FGB with almost none of the losses. Almost every losing day for the past month has been a winner for me. As far as I'm concered, FGB should put this type of advanced percentage-trailing in their EA. Well LTP just took it's first 330 pip loss this morning on the eurusd, losing $132.28 on their live account. From Jan 1st to Feb 9th they only made $105.25, so with the lot size they have been trading at lately, it could be well over a month before they make this loss up. I just sent the above to support. I copied the Expert and Journal text as well and I think I found a bug.I noticed I had LTP to open only EURUSD ie. AllowSymbols="EURUSD"; but is opened a GU anyway. Maybe the bug is it will open non-allowed symbols but will not modify them to set the TP/SL.

Ok now another weird thing happened. That last GU that opened on 15:44 at 1.54130 opened on my demo account and my live account BUT it closed on my demo with TP but is still open on my live account. I looked in the experts log and it shows that it did not modify the order with TP/SL so I have a live order with no SL or TP! I'm having the same problem wth trades not opening. Here is the email I sent to support just now:Hello, on your live account #1331 two trades were opened around the 00:00 hour, one EUR/USD sell @1.32197 and one sell @1.45858 GBP/USD. Why did not those trades open on my FXDD account. I have everything set right. I am mql programmer so I know how to do it right. If the signals were too late then why not a message in the log about it? But there is no message and EA is running fine. Please help.
