what happened?

Hello.
On demo it went well, but live went badly.
I used ICMarkets and TMGM.
It is extremely important that you have fast VPS speed (3-4ms) and low spread.
Maybe I was just unlucky with the start time on the bot?
It is a good EA if you have fast VPS and low/0 spread.
If you survive the first year trading this bot, it CAN be very proffitable on autolot.

Thanks for the detailed explanation!. I was just confused because the happy gold strategy shows insane profits in the same period. Then I'll give it there a try. ty.

update: it burned my account too! seems like the vendor is somehow faking those results. Maybe he got a demo account shown as live?

I have warned people to stop using EAs, That will always end badly, I detest anything EAs as a Technical/Manual trader. Even some Institutions I work with in past have ask me to program my strategy, I refused that offer because I'm full time and a career trader. If I'm on desk, then trades goes, if I'm off desk, then no trades.

Thats why you start with a cent account.

i had it on 5 % risk and it burned 300 dollars with one news event. it tilted me hard to watch my money get burned within seconds lol

Why you did not exit it yourself? This is why I manual trade, and I don't trade the news, I continue trading 1 or two hours after the news, I can't afford to disappoint clients that have earned my trust over the years.

you ask me why I didn't exit? you know how big news impact the market right? how can I exit if it spikes in the other direction and slippage

I used default. if you backtest it on real tick data you will the real results (= that the system failed hard due to slippage).
