How I use LLMs for trading
Hi everyone!
I’ve been trading for years (mostly crypto and FX) and kept running into the same time-sinks: coding strategies, debugging indicators, and making sense of backtest results. So my fellow engineer colleagues decided to use AI and LLMs to make all of it way easier for us. We ended up building Obside : a web app that turns natural language into automated trading strategies.
Think of it as Lovable, but for trading. No coding required.
We're backed by Microsoft for Startups, and launched our public beta a few months ago.
Here is a quick and simple example of a prompted trading strategy :
"If there is a bearish divergence on the RSI on the H4 chart, and at the same time a regular bearish divergence on the RSI on H1, then sell.
SL at the high of the H4 candle that shows a divergence. TP when the RSI goes below 50."
We literally type our strategy rules as they come to our mind. Within 2 minutes, we get a full backtest and a complete breakdown of the strategy.
