$25 000 as a testing account is ok. But there should be much bigger carrot behind than $100 000 which is also very small amount for trading FX market considering FX price action and especially with 15-25% which is very low for this kind of money.

I simply believe that after trader provided track record with good risk control, reasonable returns and was tested on testing account there should be amount to manage enough for trader to make good living by making reasonable returns with good risk.

What the traders do in contest none will do with real money. The high leverage allows then to use very large lot numbers. In some cases, you see that the traders has 1000 % win with 500 pips, again, due to large lot settings and high leverage allowed, hence, in my opinion, this will not do. What is important is the numbers that comes out from the strategy, using realistic lot numbers and realistic SL and a leverage at least of 1:100, a good PF ( I think to be a manager , you should have over 1.5 PF) and a GHPR greater than one, is enough for anyone to invest in.

Contest will not reveal the best fund manager. I know for a fact one guy whom I like very much and who won contest but was not able to manage OPM after he was given the chance. Contest has time limits but trader's career doe snot. Contest also encourages excessive risk taking which is not good for real account management.

Contest in forex to find the systems, not the % of gains.If your system does not produce good results in 30 trading days.I can say its not good one.

There is a solution to this issue. It is to set a limit of bhow much of starting demo capital can be traded. Example if the account is $50,000 then only 20% can be traded at any one time.

follow me on twitter on ablforextrader I just started today on my programme. All trades are shown in real time with entries, exits stops and TP.
I trade for a large US bank as their product but started my own programme today and building my personal track record for managed forex accounts. Did 97 pips this morning on first day. Style will be safe, short term trading with 4% risk per 50 pips a day. Longer term style also done when the setup is there. Risk is 0.5% per trade. Results should be, from past experience over 20% monthly.
I will send results monthly as I am just building my own accounts.
