VantageFX for the lowest slippage I ever seen
My offers: FXCM $4.99/RT, Pepperstone Razor AUD$6/RT, VantageFX $4.30/RT, ICMarkets AUD$5.50/RT - no mark-up spread or slippage!

If you're looking into Australian brokers be careful with Market City International SRL, operating as Brokers500. ASIC recently issued a warning about them for not being licensed by them (https://smnweekly.com/2016/03/08/australias-asic-warns-forex-broker-brokers500-is-not-licensed/), although the company is lying on its website and claiming they're licensed. The regulator couldn't even contact them about it.

Yes Pepperstone has great service, very fair, good spreads and decent customer service. I also know the manager of IC Markets angus Walker and they too offer a good service. Also have heard good reports about Berndale Capital.

I never usually get involved in recommending a broker incase anyone has any problems, but iv used pepperstone for a number of years now and found them the most reliable and trustworthy.

can someone tell me why Pepperstone are so good for them?

Global prime seem to have shining reviews and appreciation from their clients.. But are there any others people have experienced that have been good?

I signed up for one demo and have been hit by almost all of them and now don't know where to go..
live like the devil.

Pepperstone for me has been a reliable broker, only hitting stops when price goes through them rather than a widening of spreads like most brokers do.; If iv ever had any problems with any trades where they havent been triggered, stopped out or take profits hit and I have contacted them they have assessed and credited my account. And all funds are protected and withdrawls easy

But if a stop hasn't been triggered (SL/TP) and they've simply refunded you... How does that work if it is going to an independent liquidity provider? Surely the banks wouldn't refund them and your SL/TP at either end of the candle?
I'm reading into what has been said around the place by Global Prime.. They say that EVERYONE else is a B-Book and it's got me fishing around for clues of Aus brokers..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
why be there, when I can be here?

I believe that IC Markets specifically state that all trades are 100% hedged with their liquidity providers also, so I believe it's A book like Global Prime, but unlike Global Prime they won't show you trades receipts of trades to prove it.

Moreover when Swiss bullet had happened Pepperstone servers become unresponsive. Pepperstone did not refund these losses. IcMarkets did. https://www.icmarkets.com/?camp=1716
Other conditions are about the same.

quick question for those using Ic Markets, I am finding at the end of every 15 minute candle even not during news, the prices/platform freezes for around 10 seconds, I am on live server 5, latency is under 2ms using a NYC VPS. during news releases it's even worse and the end of 1 hour candle it can also be even a longer pause upto 15 seconds. Is this normal for IC Markets? Do you experience the same? Or do I need to speak with my vps provider and boost resources, trying to work out if the problem is my end or is IC markets servers causing the delay and is there a better server with them to have my account moved to? appreciate your feedback rob559 and vontogr, cheers ozzie

I have had some lag from them but no more than any other broker, certainly not every candle.
Keep at it
