What do you mean by that? How do you see connection between European Union, UK and globalists? In general, I suppose globalisation can boost the success and impact of the big and strong countries, including UK.

@Bisulget I don't see any controversy between being a strong economy and remaining part of the EU. It is a bit tricky when you say about the mentality of the British people because not 100% of those who can vote voted at the referendum and just a slight majority voted for the exit. UK is quite diverse and in my opinion it would be mutually beneficial for them to stay within the EU. For the EU vision to succeed we need countries that stay but not leave when the going gets tough. Because of this Brexit talk the pound started loosing its positions recently and I wonder until when this will continue.

Yep.
I think it's a delicate issue that might surprise us.
That is, there are many economic, political and geographical interests that exist to consider whether or not a fact. It's like a pandora's box! something else is about to look. In addition many people are changing their opinions about it.
It's a huge separation! I do not think the consequences are positive at all. And that's what politicians now fear.

I am a strong believer in the power of the union as a concept, I mean any type of union between people, countries and so on with a common goal of making things better. I believe UK will stay in the EU, after all. I agree with trill12 that globalisation is inevitable and when I think of examples of the opposite (isolation), I don't see any successful ones. Globalisation does not contradict with preserving the interests of a country or its culture. At least not in my understanding 😄

I cannot see how you can say this after the referendum. The UK referendum result is to leave the EU 52% Leave against 48% remain (more than 5% difference). No UK Parliament will not carry out the majority's mandate otherwise we are not a democracy. The EU will have to compromise as much as the UK in negotiations or perhaps it would like to explain as to why trade from the EU with the UK has stopped. The UK imports more into the UK from the EU than we export out of the UK to other EU member states. Does the EU want to be responsible for Economy nose dives, unemployment and the myriad of other downside effects of not trading fairly and or entreating with us in a lopsided way.

Globalization is unstoppable. It's good for big countries. Of course it is not perfect, but certainly favors the UK

Yes, but it is also true that some of these voting majorities are now changing their minds. And this is likely to have significant weight in the outcome.

Again though, now you say that UK citizens have a had a change of heart - Where is the proof ?

What do we do ? Have a best of 3 and if the result does not suit once again add 2 more referendums ?

We have voted, it was done fair and square and the result is as is - Let us get on with it and exit as is the will of the leavers who got the majority.

During the campaign (The remains was a lacklustre effort by the Labour Party, European Parliament, Our government and the Remain campaign - They did not care - Not one remain candidate visited our town (which is a major import/export hub not just to the EU but the World). The most powerful voice was the unions .

You reap what you sow and the remain campaign for all its power sowed but a small pack of garden seeds so to speak.

Globalization is not this issue. It is about EU producing countless rules, it is about migrants coming to UK.

Yes, but negotiations between the EU and the UK will be complex, could lead to up to 10 years of uncertainty

I'm just saying that public opinion has weight. It will not be the first time that the results do not reflect the real will of the UK people
There cannot nor will not be another EU referendum. I did not vote out because of immigration. I voted out because of the endless stream of useless, toothless laws and remits from the EU. Why does the European Parliament which every taxpayer in Europe funds have to move from Brussels to Strasbourg and then back again with countless empty properties when refugees from wartorn countries are in need of shelter and support ?The billions squandered in this act alone could have helped our fellow human beings.

The bureaucrats do not make things any better. The EU is only good for the rich and powerful corporations it does nothing for the local confissiere, boutique, and small business owner except put exhaustive laws on the statutes of non willing governments.

I also know that there are other reasons for the result that came about with Brexit.

Had the result been to remain then that is what I would accept as the will of the majority and I definetly would not be calling for a rerun.

I can only say one thing on viewing the likes of companies and corporations, countries etc queuing up to do business in and with the UK since the result from Brexit. If we will rue this decision then you will find the that the EU has made even bigger mistakes and they too will suffer.

I see the EU as both morally and financially inept at understanding what is required within it's area of influence. It can give us quaint little laws that are a bind but cannot back the right side of a catastrophe with action. It fence sits.

Britain has too long suffered with the stupidity of eurocratic, redtaping, economy strangling by this bunch of (not wanted by 52%) UK residents.

Britain was fantastic before the EU and she will be Outstanding in the future without the EU nonsense. And we wont have to pay for it.

It could be so but Brexit is a sign (and Trump) that democracy still works. Compared to EU regulation which is about to regulate our fart parameters soon.

I think it is possible to achieve this. I think UK can do it without problem.
