Step 1: Ask about the commission split.
Step 2: Evaluate the brokerage culture.
Step 3: Decide between a franchise or independent brokerage.
Step 4: Learn its reputation and niche.
Step 5: Make sure it will offer support.

Good idea, if you want to find an ideal broker, you must find these things in the broker's service. And you have to choose a broker that provides spread tight.

I have been using FP Markets for a long time now, and they have been good at providing good customer service and offering low commission costs. For newcomers, training is also provided from educational materials.

When does a trader move to a new broker? what are the expectations from a new broker and disappointment from the previous/current broker.

Choosing a good broker is crucial for any trader. I would mainly look to get better spread, less commission, quick withdrawal and good customer service. If I do not get them from my current broker, I may switch to one, which ticks most of these boxes.

This is the most difficult thing for a new trader in this market.

When choosing a broker, I advise you to first pay attention to a demo account. This will allow you to learn a little more about the broker before funding your account.

While choosing a new broker, I look into the pairs they offer, their pricing and execution speed. For this, I generally rely on live trading conditions because I know that the results on a demo differs largely from the live account. Currently I’m trading with Coinexx only after testing them on a micro account. Seems to be good.

I think there would be a lot of reasons to potentially move. If the previous broker disappointed me in any way, for example, by dealing out bad customer service, problems with my account, hearing that others are having withdrawal problems or dealing with it personally, and the list goes on. Another good time to switch is if you realize you're getting a bad deal. There are so many brokers out there, so if yours is charging $7 a withdrawal, high spreads and costs, inactivity fees, or anything similar then why wouldn't you switch?

I look for a broker that offers a wide range of markets and ideally offer same day pay outs.

Choosing a new broker isn't a very pleasant process, however it matters a lot for a trader. All people like to work when they are provided with awesome conditions. If we speka about ordinary people, then they just seek for these conditions and as a rule employer provides them with these conditions, while for a trader it's the hardest task. Nobody will provide you with something that you want until you find a broker which will offer the conditions which will suit your needs. The vast majority of traders are tired of searching for a proper broker, and they give up the whole idea of trading, because they can't find a proper one.

Some reviews are fake so even reviews are not a sure way to find a good broker but it is better than nothing. With any new broker I would always make a small deposit first and trade for a month to see how good they are

I advise you to take the choice as responsibly as possible. Especially considering that it affects the result.
