EA that actually works

Am noticing that a lot of these 'EAs that actual work' are no longer.
Personally I have turned off my EA for the moment and would actually prefer to trade manually while the EURUSD and AUDUSD are choppy and not trending. At least if you are manually trading you have a feel for the current market and movements.
My approach was different when I was working on Forex Wave Rider trading rules, rather than starting with the EA and making it profitable with testing, I started with plan and broke it down into sections. I think many EAs out there are a result of extensive trial and error and then getting the best results and optimising for current market bias - this is why they do not have longevity.
EAs can and do work, however look at history - remember SPhantom, what about Forex Growth Bot and the list goes on. They tend to work for a while and then have either a major or minor meltdown. I started off originally with one called Fap Turbo many years back - now I prefer to be in control of my destiny and not rely on a 3rd party EA.

Scalper Trades EURUSD only between 8 GMT - 18 GMT when markets are most volatile.. Enters trades using pending orders and the logic is buy low sell high. Very low draw down (5% or less) depending on the risk appetite with a return of over 25% per month..
Terms: works best on ECN accounts with no commission and low EURUSD spread ( less than 2 pips) the lower the better.
account management profit sharing every 2 weeks or 1 month (70% - 30%)
