If an investor is not profitable, it's generally due to ignoring the basic rules of Risk Management.

Don't over trade.
Cut your losses.
Run your winners.
Use reasonable TP and reaonable SL price targets.
Trade high probability setups only.
Use automation where possible.
Use a profitable strategy which does not violate the risk management rules.
Trade with 100% ZERO emotions.

A high probability setup may occur once a day, multiple times a day, once a week, once a month, or even longer times between appearance of the setup.

NEVER trade just to trade in the markets. TRADE ONLY when it's going to be a high chance of profits.

Look at your trading history and review your bad trades and determine WHY the trade was bad and determine why you thought they were going to be good. Figure out WHY it happened, and adjust your understanding of the markets accordingly, then create a new risk management rule for future reference so you can learn from this.

To be profitable in forex, one has to be very active on the news and know how market reacts to it. basically have a good experience. i think, to be steadily profitable, it takes almost 1-1.5 years of experience in the live market.

Yaa thats true! Even after some failures we stick to it because we know that with the right strategies and best effort we can make huge money from it. So yes fox trading is definitely profitable.

It is profitable for some, it takes lots of time and patience.

Forex is profitable, but it will take years for you to find the right strategy.

yes this is why it is important to use demo account to test these out.

U need a patient and wait... And practice make it prefect

That's a bit of a funny statement. Of course you shouldn't be thinking about 'quick profit'. But the ultimate goal of any strategy is to make profits lol..

And focus on Risk Management as the number one priority.

if you look to my account it would not be right to say forex is not profitable, i am makeing money all the time, but its also true that the majority is losing money with trading. so lets say it can be profitable if you have enough experience. beside of good money management you need also know how to trade how the charts working, you must know what you are doing to build somethink like a trust but always with enough care.

Majoirty definitely lose

Forex trading is no doubt amazing but trader have to be very wise and experienced always ask an experienced traders help

It’s a long road to trading profitably. Took me a couple of years until I started making a profit full time :)

Just study hard
