Uninterrubtable Power Supply. Basically a battery that kicks in and powers whatever is plugged into it when there is a power outtage.

You get different sizes, the bigger ones have more batteries and can power for much longer. Our internet provider is not the same as our electricity, so it happens that the electricity is down, but not the internet, so I then plug my internet source in there as well to give uninterrupted internet and electricity.

For sure you need to run something on the side really. Something like VPS seriously needed. Cause it's something which you do not control but other 3rd party company and it really work out good if it will be problem with it, it will be changed anyway.

Of course, VPS is a useful option! From the last 5 years I have been taking the service of VPN.

Edge browser is really the annoying thing, your PC couldn't go to sleep mode with that thing on on the background so please keep that in mind for example. You will look whenever possilbe and will not know where the problem is or it's the hardware or so.

Yes; I am also not comfortable with edge browser! But in a day, usually I keep on my PC for 15-17 hours only.

15-17?? That’s really huge; I don’t invest more than 12 hours; since I need lots of energy!

If using a PC on all the time, what safeguards against system failure; cooling issues, maintenance, power surges or unforeseen accidents?

I feel sorry for laptops that have to run nonstop every day. they really undergo heavy strain. If you plan on having a new pc or laptop for this purpose then it is a bad idea. For a monthof nonstop running your pc will be worn out so bad that you may even quit for its sake. If you really want to trade then you should get a secondhand pc for a cheap price as long as it can run the progrms you need. Connct it to a power supply and let it run as much as it can. There is no harm in that. There is no way I will let my hp 15 suffer because of trades.

Using a pc is not a good option if it is the only one that you have. There is an alternative. OIf you have no problem connecting your pc to run nonstop for an entire day and then letting it run nonstop for days on and on then go for it. If you plan on getting a computer for that purpose then my advice is that you should not buy a new one. You will be wasting your money. Even if it is new then it should not be expensive. It will not be serving much purpose apart from the trades.

Keeping my pc running all the time is not something I want to do. The screen being on all the time is just not worth it. I recommmend the you st the pc to sleep after two hours but eh screen to turn of after 20 minutes. Your trades will keep on runnning even if the screen is off. It is better touse a pc for trades that will last a long time to complete. You can get a laptop with a powerful battery.

It is more expensive to run your PC 24/5 then to buy a VPS. Not to mention less reliable.
You are right. Keep the pc no all-time is not good for the health of pc. VPS is the best alternative option.

I don't think it's wise to keep the PC open all the time. If you keep the PC open unnecessarily, it can put a lot of pressure on it.
