hey ozzie! hope you are well, yea i understand, but if you look at my draw-down over the time period that i started n where is it now? its way lower than what it was, unfortunately i guess once u hv one fall from your account its going to be forever there at myfxbook, so yea, anyways i rather people see my growth over time n my performance charts kinda shows that im gaining exp and stuff instead of opening a fresh new account n not show what had happened in the past to my account, hopefully traders can see 'THE HUMAN TOUCH' on my account, maybe some traders could relate to it, so yea i guess, its a good thing, that it shows my lowest drawdown, which was sometime last year btw after i almost made a 100% on my deposit, and lost more than 80/90% of it, came a long way since then, that was the market getting on my emotions, moved my sl lower n lower hopefully it would hv returned back up to atleast break-even but yea that didnt happen. well now i try my best not to move my stops from what i had done b4, unless its needed. anyways, thanks alot Ozzie! hopefully we can get more people to more view my account and once it gets approve for copy trades, it could help other traders out and also myself with the extra side income. hv a good day guys! trade with care. 😎

Ah yes I can see now since 1 January this year drawdown has been lower, with max at 24.44% for an average Monthly return of 23.28%. I have added to my watchlist. Good luck with your trading.

My sentiments exactly. Asked a coder to pop the hood these last few days - it seems there was a bug in the coding - signalling a premature close. This was fixed - busy running a 99.9% backtest now to see if the logic remains intact. It should, but one never knows. I will post an update here.

Unfortunately, while downloading tick data, my system crashed and I lost all, so the best I could come up with for now is a backtest of 90% modelling quality. The EA is now adapted to take commission into consideration, before signalling a close, this hasn't affected the trade logic too much..It still operates well enough for me..It rakes in less per annum now.
This is a two year BT, but one pair only - I run it on two other pairs which do equally as well and if your equity is enough I run twice on a pair. The DD though is actually far less, as the BT also includes certain times I manually avoid and big news events..

Hi hoangduy2601, there are several red flags that tell me that in time, this EA will blow your account. There were 1026 trades, the account is in profit, but you've made negative 24.5 pips? This means that some type of multiple trades are being entered, with large enough lot, which is closing a basket of losing trades for a net profit. Also, the equity line is trailing below the balance line, not above. That's another red flag for me. Also, your risk to reward (I'm just estimating based on the average win and average loss), along with an estimated win rate of 72%, is not that great. For one thing, the win rate is already high and with this crappy risk to reward, it doesn't leave much room for improvements. There are inconsistent amount of lots being placed. I mean, I would just run at this point. I mean it, run... Run far away from anyone trying to put this on a live account. The history along with other tabs are set to private so it's hard to come up with other pointers to help you assess this EA. Good luck, I hope this helps.

That -8784.0 pips is bad news which basically shows the market really moving against before the crazy lots come in to try and save the losing basket. If you're going to use that EA, be careful.

I think a lot of systems on myfxbook seem to be dangerous and it doesn't make sense for me to say the same thing so I'll just make this my last post about these dangerous systems. Be careful with these things, they will blow your account if you run them long enough.

Heyy BV350IE, that particular EA' does look dangerous, although as mentioned when you say the EA's I was using was the same as this. Averaging in and out of a position doesn't make it a martingale nor does it make it completely wreck less.

Thank you very much for your comments. For me it's very important. I had to close the leaky positions hence the disparity in the statistics. From now on it will only get better :)
