Hi guys, I'm starting to use Signal Start. Could you please explain to me how the leverage works?
If I have a leverage of 30:1 on my account and the provider uses a leverage of 500:1, how are the trades placed?
In the screenshot my provider made a trade of 0.03 EURUSD lots, but on my MT4 I've seen that I bought 3.36 lots. On Signal Start I selected Muliplier 1, so the trade should have been the same lots placed by the provider.
Probably my balance of USD 50K affected the number of lots I bought, or are there other things that I have to consider?
Thanks for your help.

Leverage can be a bit confusing at first. Since you have 30:1 leverage and the provider uses 500:1, the difference in leverage affects the trade size. Even though you selected a multiplier of 1, the actual lot size on your account may change based on your account’s leverage and balance.
For example, if the provider trades 0.03 lots, your larger balance and lower leverage can lead to a different position size, like the 3.36 lots you saw. Your $50K balance definitely affects it, so keep an eye on both balance and leverage settings!

Thank you for your answer! For real trades I'll use another account that works with a leverage of 1:400.
Now I'm just trying to find out in demo (1:30) how the system uses my balance.
To have full control over my trades it's probably better to set the limits in the control panel of each provider, because I don't want to expect a trade of 1 lot and then the system uses 3 lots 😁
That way I won't be surprised. What do you think?
