Its so exciting to see that traders attempt trading $200 to $1m.. but has anyone ever suceeded? I'll like to see a $200 acount turn to $1m...my mama told me ''rather than complain something is not done, or look for someone else to do what you can do, get it done [yourself].
So since i trade forex, wy not I give it a try...nothing much to loose really [just $200] but s whole lot of goodies to gain..hmm...this seems like a good R:R.....lol
So let's do it..Acoount balance is $209 with 2 -ve trades still on....

Compounding and proper money management will absolutely take you from a small account to a million dollar account. The numbers don’t lie! More importantly, Money Management is the easiest part of trading because unlike the market YOU have total control of it.
Taking an account from $1,000 to $1,000,000 is not difficult because of of Money Management. It’s difficult because of the disciple it takes to learn and develop a sound strategy, execute it flawlessly, and make consistent gains, (I.e more PiPs gained than lost over time). That can take years and thousands of hours of screen time to accomplish. Most people run out of money, time and patience LONG before they accomplish consistent enough gains to grow an account from $1,000 to $1,000,000, Money Management is the least of their problems.

No man is infallible of making mistakes, but learning from them is one of man's greatest virtues. “If you know you made a mistake and don't correct it, then you have really made a mistake.” Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. ~Douglas Adams, Last Chance to See
We should be careful to get out of an experience only the wisdom that is in it - and stop there; lest we be like the cat that sits down on a hot stove-lid. She will never sit down on a hot stove-lid again - and that is well; but also she will never sit down on a cold one anymore. ~Mark Twain, Pudd'nhead Wilson's New Calendar, Following the Equator, 1897
The trouble with using experience as a guide is that the final exam often comes first and then the lesson.
Pride destroys the potential of accepting to learn off others!

$200 to $1,000,000 might takes 3 years or forever. sometimes you can get 40% a month, the next month (tsunami), earn minus.
discipline and to know the character of EA is very important. I learned a lot and lost a lot too. Impossible not to lost in this game. But make sure we learn something from the loses and not to repeat same mistake...
-my 2 cents-

Hi,
Where is the prove? Please share here.

the prove is that if benanke were truly capable of pulling off such a thing, he would be busy doing that thing and he would be doing a bit less running of his mouth.
i mean, srsly, a four day track record?

i like these threads because you should be able to set yourself absurd targets and go for it. I have a side account in which i have been trying for years to turn $25 into $50,000 in only 12 trades.
This isnt about trading for long term financial gain, its just for a little fun.
Plus its got to be possible i've just not managed to get past the 4th trade yet!
if anyone feels like having a crack my rules are as follows:
1, starting balance of 25$us
2, no more / no less trades than exactly 12 (the idea is to double the balance with every trade)
3, no more / no less than 12 days from first trade to last.
Have a bit of fun, its $25 and you might surprise your self!

Quite frankly, $200 is under-capitalization. I haven't quite calculated the 'sweet spot minimum' yet, but so far my estimates point to $10,000. With $10,000 you can make minimum $2,000 a month profit without much risk. Starting with $5000 is OK but $1000 or less is difficult to manage properly and GROW QUICKLY. And if you start with $100,000...well, you can become a millionaire in roughly 3 months without breaking a sweat, as long as you trade smart. It's all exponential. I turned $50,000 into over $14 million in very short time.
P.S. There is an Asian trader who turned $1600 into over $100 million....but it took him 8 years!

The minimum to trade with is $10,000 US Dollars. You should not try for anymore than 10% profit a month. The best starting amount is $50,000 US Dollars. I once traded a $5,000,000 US Dollars account during 2007 and I did 1804 FX trades in exactly 56 days and had an increase in net asset value of over 50%. I did 1804 FX trades with just 4 losses when I used the PFG Best platform FX Solutions set up by Casey Chandler for me.

Past performance is not indicative of future results. Trading futures and options is not suitable for everyone. There is a substantial risk of loss in trading futures and options.

That's the beauty of micro lots, and you are right. It's all exponential. But, with, say a starting balance of 300$, it can easily be grown it just takes time.
If you make those pips when it's a small amount, and make those pips when it's a large amount, it's all relative.
As long as you are not over leveraging, and have an edge, anything is possible.
For say, a 300$ balance, a risky trade with that small of a balance would be .05 lots. Even still, you can expect to have tighter stops with that.
