First Margin Call - Feel like a complete loser

Was doing ok (well not really), then did the stupidest thing ever.

I forget to check my lot size, and went short on XAUGBP on M5 timeframe because I thought I saw a good reveral based on EMA 8,13,21.
No I didn't.
What I did do was lose £387 of my initial £500 first live trading account in around 30 seconds.

Feel like such a complete and utter prick.

Jesus at one time I was going that twice a week on live accounts and I can't even remember how many demos I and blown up like that. Just be sure to check your Lot size and remember you never stop learning.

Yeah. I also face that mistake. It’s really bad.

It is good to learn from the mistake. After all, we are all human.

Discipline is the most important thing in forex, but on the other hand, experience comes with mistakes, so always be careful when taking trades.
