Hello All ...

I'm a programmer and did hundreds of EAs during the last 8/9 years. Till the moment, I got my own exclusive EAs that I can make them work for me because I know the exact logic they are using in hard periods.

In plain words, EAs, in general, needs to human intervention from time to time. This intervention can be wise only if you the logic of the EA and how to change settings or time frame wisely to make it run and ends with profit. If you believe you will get in trouble, you have to sacrifice your profit and get as early as possible.

I use my own basic formula, as Martingale EAs has no SL, then I use last 1, or 2, or 3 days profit as my max DD, so, this way I will lose only time then next time I have to use less risk to compensate the loss.

Bottom line, Gris/Martingale EAs are very profitable for home who know the logic of the used EA, preferable the programmer himself.

In the last few months, I did 666% in just a week. It was too risky, pressure, and non-fun time :( ... I never did (or will do) that again. My health is more valuable than money itself.

That's kinda propriety knowledge . I just wanted to say that Martingale is a very misunderstood and incorrectly applied method. You also need a decent account size. I wanted to develop a method that trades profitably regardless of what price does. It took me 3 years but I've achieved that. There are no stop losses--just hedging and a type of martingale method.

Proof of what I'm saying is at https://www.myfxbook.com/members/Pooler/beeksvps-ver-9-live/862616. I automated this method and started on Feb 7 with a $ 14 800 deposit. I've withdrawn $ 6200 since then. The first 2 months I didn't trade optimally and I had to change accounts. You can calculate from these whether this is an effective method.
Proof is deleted. Go figure yourself...

Bottom line, Grid/Martingale EAs are very profitable for who knows the logic, power and draw backs of the EA.

In the last few months, I did 666% in just a week. It was too risky, pressure, and non-fun time :( ... I never did (or will do) that again. My health is more valuable than money itself.

Here is a proof that Martingale EAs works very well if you use it the right way !.
58% in just 2 days with minimal DD.

Sorry. This is a high risk-High return system. You know what is the meaning f high risk.
The history of account is not important for you as it is an old account and many EAs I used and manual trading is done as well, so, it is not related to this system.
Last trading activity lead to 212.85% ... that was just 4 trading days.

High risjk - high reward is true speculative trading. Maybe you can do this kind of thing for a bit of fun but you can't put serious money into any trading account that has high risk. I've seen so many systems like this make good money for a few months and then crash like a stone when the market turns

This system is more complicate than only duble position when losig. It is existing few types of investingthis way

PYRAMIDES
1. First type Pyramide- You open position ONLY if first position is on profit.
 First type of pyramides
a) Geometric progresiv
b) geometric diggresive
c) arithemtic progressive
d) arithemtick digresiive
Second Types of pyramides
a) regular( grid)
b) unregular
Oposite of pyramides is averagig- you open position( same as first one) only when first position is losing.

Averaging also has few types( similar as pyramides).
Also it is quite advanced how use SL is 'sets' like this.
1. You treat every position as a separate position, and witing for TP( which is far away)
2. You move SL from lowest one and taking every next SL.
3. You treat all position as one......etc

Pyramides and averaging as more money managment than trading. Is more like chess than pure trading. It is play on numbersnot on curriences.

It is material for next loooong lesson.

But if you do homework, you can make money :)

good luck.

In many traders' practice many currency pairs were showing long movements without retraces. So ladies and gentlemen, make your conclusions
