To evaluate an EA u have first to understand how the strategy works. Then run a tick data BT, knowing that for many strategies BTs Are unreliable (If an EA uses more than 1 indicator, If it is a tight scalper with very tiny profits and or the trades last only few seconds. Then u have to compare BT trades with the trades triggered on a real account, and only If there is a good match rate the BT is reliable. So u should run only EA with reliable long term BTs with a real account with a decent history.
U can find good infis for free on the web
Running only Expert advisors with good long term backtests and nice forward tests

Yes, but this is the Keltner discussion and would be right to discuss about this EA. So create the discussion about your strategies or a thread in some forum and discuss there. I also suggest You to create a Myfxbook link showing concrete results, because words Are worth nothing, specially in the trading field. Web is full of scams and only experienced people Are able to discern valid contents from scams

I know this guy who used to jump in to Skype for giving test of his EA and show some good trades then emotionally blackmail trader to buy his EA. Once you buy his EA then it blew the account and never refund money back. That was his Real Trend EA. Now he is coming with different name Rev Trend and not showing his myfxbook.com account publicly!!! This is a cheater!! be aware about him. William, If you are himself then please stop cheat more person!!!

I also want to expose scammers and till now, doing it very well.
RevTrader Pro already banned me from his discussion. He just worry, that i will say too much and no one will buy his EA...

Hi Jared,
it must be about a year ago since I invested plenty of money in 2 of your systems.
There was this wonderful sales pitch premising that if it does not alt least make the
money back you would offer a better system,... obviously this was all a trick!
Are you also producing Vortex Trader Pro, which looks great,... at least as long it is not loosing money on my life account.
What do you have to offer?

It's always sales pitch.
No one will sell a great profiting trading system, if You have a great profiting system and need more capital You open
PAMM/MAMM or any other solution for managed systems.
If one sells his EA it means it's crap that have periods of good profits and You don't care that a lot of ppl will trade it.

Have been looking at KeltnerPro and did a bit of Symbol versus hour trade opened versus P/L to look for hours and symbols that maybe should be avoided.
Based on 18 months of live data via the MyFxBook account, here is what I found:
1) Don't trade AUDUSD
2) Don't trade broker (GMT+3) hr 0 - 9, 14, 16, 18, 23
Would have doubled the profit. Here is a Excel pivot table with the data.
Profit graph:
Currently looking at the trades and closes to see if it is possible to improve the open and/or close.

this system has been VERY poorly lately! Damn. another loss today. Market conditions though, not EA fault.
