Ridiculous explanation. Doesn't matter under how many different alias names you drop new EAs, even the KeltnerPro EA comes from the same source, better known as William Morris, which ofcourse isn't the real name of the godfather of marketing hype in collaboration with the very questionable Synergy broker. Very fishy business practice IMO.

Ricki - I've changed settings so , for example if the price action snaps up or down, it will give it more time before entering even more than the last update. And i've adjusted order2 / order3 on a few pairs. And I also made some adjustments on GBPUSD

FallenLeaf, I dont care whos the real person selling it either, but someone shouldn't just sell same thing with diff name to attract more customers online and pretend they are different vendors aswell, thats purely unethical.
You will see he will come here and post the past GROWTH of the Robot and say- "I am not the vendor of FVB and FxMonetizer etc, si stop confusing people"
Note : Hes sending 1-2 marketing emails everyday from each of his EA marketing campaign list, So he doesn't have time for you to come here and sort out problems.

Actually I don't have time to chat here, because I'm busy helping clients via e-mail, watching markets, etc. I can't just sit around all day and watch this thread. If anyone wants to talk I've made it clear that I'm available via E-mail. Here I check from time to time.

I have been following this thread since i bought REV from last December and now and day I post here some comments for getting my investment back early. However, I found out recently instead of countless waiting and debating, we should do something help and save our self.
I did by the weekend an optimization test to the other pairs by using REV's strategy but with completely different settings. To my greatly surprise the result is quite amazing. So I would like to share with you fellows here and hope we could all get hands on to get our money back more quicker than this ea should be.
Well, I also know there are quite a lot of forex pros here, and if comparing with these pros, I am just a beginner. So don't laugh at me, just want to make some noises and fun for entertainment.
So here is the report as attached. I picked EURAUD as my first experiment target and I took the period only from Oct.2014 to the present. That's because this ea sucked mainly in these months.
So ok, have a look at this and hope we all could make some fun here guys, cheers !

yes looks great and the only way to use REV is to bakctest and trade your own .set files. In which case you have not helped anyone here unless you provide a .set file. WHAT we all should do here instead of whining and bitching like little girls is be men and contribute to an amazing thread by providing research of backtest of different .set files for different pairs that we have found to be profitable say for 2009-2015 on USDJPY or something USEFUL. showing a graphic of your results does nothing NOR does bitching about how many months you have lost money. It will NOT make your life better nor will it make anyone else. I am going to do some optimizing over the next few weekends and will post interesting research for those who want to join me on this quest. Just a tip for anyone else who wants to help, make sure you do OPEN PRICES only, trying to optimize with Every tick will take you a whole week.

Hi bro, it is good job done. did you compare the test result for the same pair with setting (Ver 2.7fixed for example) from Doug and the setting based your optimization?
Secondly, what data source are you using for the backtest?
Third, did you compare the test results with setting provide with data source by Doug and real trading results? how far?
Ya, although i cant recall when i did base on vendor's file, but that that of result was way different...
Suggest you may want to do it yourself from your broker's mt4, as the spread and other conditions are vary.

Welcome to forex. If you think a system works, why would the developer sell it. He makes more money having everyone following him in PAMM. It amazed me how simple minded you guys are who "buys" EA's.

If a trader opens a trade based on "emotions", then he isn't following the same strategy as anyone else. Once again, if a person has a system which actually works, why would you put a price on it? You stand to make more by simply trading without emotions, and running a PAMM. It is clear to see that many people have been left holding the bag by simply buying this EA (Assuming it is true).

Generally speaking on a short period like yours, the risk is to over-optimize the system, meaning that it will work awesomely on that period but it will not work in the future. For a system working on H1 with the trading frequency it seems to have yours I would suggest optimizing your settings on a testing window of 1 year or more. Later on, you should test your best results on other 2 or 3 years separately (let's say first you optimize on 2014 and the first months of 2015 and then you test your results on 2011, 2012 and 2013).
I also notice another critical issue. If the system performed bad on that period on one pair it has no sense to test it on the same period on a new pair (as, for instance, the first one could have suffered a hi volatility period while the new one could have been pretty stable or viceversa).
Just my 2 cents.

Right, I think I have finally given up hope on this EA with all the endless updates and negative months. Finally lost my temper here. I have been running it since December and as of today my account is at -80% of my initial deposit. Doug, you keep bringing out new systems and the people who bought this software in the past few months have nothing but blown accounts and an outdated money back guarantee. Why not spend some time actually optimizing the ea? Or at least give those a chance to recoup their losses with another piece of software that actually works in today's market. This is just bad business.

good call, i did a very quick test from 2010 ~ 2014, it looks ok as: Profit Factor is 1.66, Profit Trade: 82%. that being said, I have no more interest with this ea, the longer time i spend on it, the more disappointments I have from its recent performance, especially today. I'd hold off the horse for a while.

The answer is simple. You guys have been scammed. The guy is clearly trading with a bucketshop broker, which he more then likely has some sort of relationship with, which is why the start looks so good.I simply would like for you guys to think about one thing. If you had an EA which worked, why would you sell it? It is clear to see that the newer versions aren't any better then the versions which you bought, and nothing in the market has changed which would make the account grow so beautifully and then all of a sudden red 80% The market runs in a loop and a really good EA attacks those loops. People who sells EA's and you see that the ea opens positions at pivots, round numbers, etc it should be clear that the system at best is a heads or tells system.
