Dear support, threads with topics like these should be erased. And OP should be banned. I feel that I don't need to state a reason for my asking that, as it should be common sense.Thank you!
Some help would be appreciated

I wouldn't go as far as to say you have lost one year with demo trading, however based on my experience with risk control and money management (roughly 10 years) I can say without a doubt that it is better to start with a live account (instead of a demo), though a small one (cent or micro account) would be preferable for capital conservation reasons.Even a $10 bankroll on a live account is preferable to a $100K demo account. Short answer: To open an account use the largest leverage the broker offers. To find out what leverage an autotrade providers uses, or any other system posted on myfxbook, look at the General tab in the info section of the Stats (left side of the window).Longer answer: Learn what leverage is, what it really means (hint: it's just a credit line your broker offers - the bigger the leverage, the more credit you are able to use), and what are its benefits and dangers. You can start here: http://www.investopedia.com/terms/l/leverage.asp

I am part of that category, and I believe you to be a part as well, especially based on what you said in this thread. So If you agree to what I wrote above, you must also realize that it only takes 5-6 consecutive losing trades with 2-5% risk per trade in order to reach that DD threshold. Even the elite hit a 10 consecutive losing streak once in a while. There is a lot more that can be said, but the important part is ...

Hey fxdimarion,I agree here. You are over-leveraging. An "extremely profitable" day in my book would be something like a 5% account growth, while a very bad one would be close to 3% loss. I think this is the healthy way (psychological and financial) to do it for the long run. You should be able to sleep well and just see this as your daily job, if you aspire to be a professional.Talking with others in the trading field is useful, just as you said. It's well known that trading is a lonely / isolating occupation so talking with others as well as having other hobbies helps.I really ...
