Last couple of days no trading was done due to the volatility of the market, it was very risky. Also on Monday more than 10% was made on the account and therefore the weekly target was already met so there was no need to take such risks.Daily report for today:Pips: +45.2Gain: +2.26%

This is a very interesting topic. I think the most important factor here is the "emotional side of trading", many times people tend to make mistakes when using a real account, mistakes which may not necessarily happen if they were using a demo. This is due to the fact that there is added pressure put on the trader and added risk since he/she can now lose REAL money. Well said, makes perfect sense. So by saying this it is agreed that trading a larger account is much easier than trading small accounts, certainly less stressful.

The week started very brightly when more than 10% was made in a day. However, I got caught up in a trade and kept it open for a couple days while constantly monitoring it. It was the first time since trading this account that something like this has happened, it was very difficult and somehow I feel I got caught here because Kuroda spoke unscheduled. Despite that the account was never close to a margin call because of the risk management on the account and in the end the trades were closed with a 70 pip profit.So far this week:336 pips 20.23% growth so far
What is your daily target??

Hi:Just curious about how you all set targets. I personally try to make 2% per day with minimal risk.How do you all set your targets?? I know some people may set goals based on number of pips made and others may use percentages, I know this would also depend on the lot sizes used plus the size of the account.Hoping to hear what works for you all.

I joined myfxbook a few weeks ago and decided it was time to make a thread here. This is going to be my trading journal. I try to make 2% daily, sometimes I make much more, sometimes I make less, I average around 2%.Strategy is simple, I use Renko Charts to determine the trend and then I scalp.Will try to update the thread with daily statistics on how my journey goes
