To be honest, we can never decide what is right or wrong as it all comes down to what you want from a broker, is it good spreads, commission, or a solid platform? For me personally, i wanted a broker with whom i can trade at the lowest cost possible and thus with fxview, have low commission ($2 rt). So know your requirements first and the decide on a broker.

Trading is not easy i agree but for people who think about forex as a get rich quick scheme and lose money in the end, it is definitely hard for those.

First off, MT4 is almost every trader’s choice because of its simplicity to use. Plus, with a reputed broker offering a good platform, you get to have a good execution speed, no delay or requotes issues in your trading. For me, I myself have been using MT4 with fxview for almost 2 years and all's well.

What's good for you, may not be right for the other person . So that's why it becomes important to consider those factors while choosing a broker which matches with your trading style. Can tell about myself what I looked for, while choosing fxview for myself. Regulation, support and low fees have always been the main criteria for me.

You can not avoid slippage completely, it normally occurs during high periods of volatility. This is the most common issue traders talk about, luckily the broker i use (fxview) at present has a very minimal slippage issue. I think someone else here can name out their broker too, who has minimal slippage.
