If you are using a solid strategy, martingales can enhance your system quite a bit. Otherwise, if they are trading without concept, they are a ticking time bomb.I´ve coded strategies which also use martingale. They withstood the financial crashs over the past decade on backtests with several brokers, as well as with tick data.They had a visible drawdown during the 2008 meltdown, but they survived. I have a win-ratio of 80% with it though, so it is not the typical randomly trading martingale.

Look at the win-percentage of the trades, simplest way.

10% a month is a goal too high set in my opinion, given the premises that you want to keep your investment safe. Of course if you want to take the risk there is no limit to your profit.2% a month on the other hand can be realistic for safe trading. My systems aim at funds safety and are designed to withstand a financial crisis. They make about 2-8% on average per month, depending on risk profile.
I want only a safe 4% each month... Which EA?? Thank you

Achieving a big profit and doubling your account in a few months is fairly easy.
