You cannot compete in that game hence do not try. If you still decide to give it a try I wish you best of luck!The programming language is but one factor - to "be on same play ground" you would need co-location, low latency network (RDMA, Infiniband, ...) switches and NICs, ASICS, FCPGA, GPGPUs depending on need for speed vs. ability to modify your algorithms in addition to latest gen hardware (X86, POWER, SPARC). Oh and a dozen of PhD's. Point being if you rely on that type of low-latency chances are you will loose.That said if you are new to programming I would recommend starti...

Sorry for hijacking this thread but what in particular is wrong with Metatrader and FXCM?(Been using both and found no serious flaws...)

Hi everyone,is there any way to force myfxbook to recaulculate equity of your account?I have two days with missing equity (rather equity equals balance) which distors the picture trying to evaluate equity and equity growth pattern. Currently I have slighty more than 61K trades (including deposits and withdrawals) in my History and last I removed and added the account entirely in myfxbook a lot of trades were lost, hence I prefer another solution.Rgds.PAQT

For those running their trading terminals and EA's on own infrastructure I would recommend using a (small) server intended for 24x7 usage.For added resilience install free ESXi in a small cluster allowing you to easily reboot the VM should the physical server fail.MT4 (not sure about MT5) runs as a single process, hence it is preferable to only one (compute intensive) EA per MT4 client for performance reasons - communication between the EA's can be done rather easily by basic socket communication or a database as you may want to store state between restarts anyhow.

Hi,first of all thanks for your help 😄.I tried that at first but although it said "Publishing succesfull" in the MT4 Journal my account was still in Pending mode 4 hours after.I thus recreated it but rather used the MetaTrade4 (AutoUpdate) by providing a read-only investor password. It worked immdiately - save for not having full history that is 😕The AutoUpdate feature suits me much better by the way: due to MT4 being single threaded (last I checked at least) I have an Esxi environment running my MetaTrader servers with each server each having one MT4 instance per cor...

Ouch - deleted and recreated. 5K trades gone 😭Gonna have to do annual analysis for next couple of years until 6 first months are neglible

Hi felow forex traders,is there any way to force a recalculation of the equity for an account in myfxbook?I have a live account which for unknown reason have an invalid equity of -124% on a certain day, which obviously distorts the general picture and makes small daily changes difficult to see?/Thomas
