Switching from Long to Short

Hi GuysNewbie here so sorry if this sounds like a dumb question. I have been using trading view and used the "Switch position" feature that changes your trade from long to short and vice versa. If you are in an existing trade and you switch the trade from long to short I am assuming your broker will still charge you to do this? I didn't see any fees been charged on trading view and thought it was strange. Would be great if it was free but I think that's just wishful thinking. My strategy is more options based and I want to be long above my strike price and short below it. I c...
