Up 30% on my account since November so I'm not complaining. Only ea thats made me any money consistently.Only my views, but at the end of the day we all know what the forex market is like.

Hi My eur usd basket TP was 1.3032, likewise first experience of a trade hitting stop loss. Was relieved about the eur/usd this morning, only to return this afternoon with the gbp /usd going great guns and DD at 50%. Cant wait to put this one to bed and start again just on the eur/usd.

Sorry to hear that statman.My eur usd basket closed this morning. I only have the gbp running at the mo and been out all day. Just got back to see one trade as closed at -600 pips, and DD on this one trade at 48%. Must have missed some news I think. At least i'm now not sweating on two pairs.It's ironic in that after sweating for days about the eur usd trade, when it closed this morning for a small profit, it as now gone due to one trade reaching - 600 pips. At least we fight for another day.

OMG What a ride!! Don't want to go through that again.I have deactivated my Eur and just have one basket of buy trades open against the gbp / usd trade sell basket. Drawdown now at 27% but happy as i went to 77%.Mind you, net gain was less than 1% and not sure if it was worth the sweating. Live to fight another day.Just need the gbp / usd trade to complete and then back to normal.

Just agreeing with what you said about the deactivation of trades.Trading shed - Thats what I've been waiting for but my tP is at 32 and was still showing - £100. Just hope it's not turming back now gbp as opened a .21 trade

Hi GlobalprofitI started with an equivalent of $3500 and this is what I have been doing so far. Everything as been fine averageing 8-10% apart from Dec at 5%. This month i'm just over 7%, however I hate to say it, but it looks like at the moment this drawdown on the eur and gbp will wipe my account out unless there is a drastic turn. Followed advice from support all the way with eur on setting 2 and gbp on one after checking with support.On hindsight, i think you realy need $10k minimum for Toms ea in order for the DD not to bother you. Obviously I'm sticking with it but will have ...

Hi allI've just done some quick maths and need some one to check for me.With the DD at the moment on the eur and gbp, along with open trades now at .15In sterling I have worked out that if it goes up another 140 pips, this will equate to £900, which I think willWipe my account out , I have kept to what support advised but obviously now in panic mode. Am I right with these figures?

You can say that again.I've just had an order on my eur / usd and an order on gbp /usd opened at .15, I'm starting to get concerned now.My figures are now.Balance 2153 Equity 1372 Margin 176 free margin 1182 margin level 781% (lowest its ever been)they still need to drop apr0x 140 pips before they take profit. Am i dreaming? DD 45%crossing legs as well now!

Tradingshed, Ivan, FugheYes I'm sweating; current figuresBal 2149 Equity 1426 margin 121 Free margin 1306 margin level 1172%Both eur usd and gbp usd have trades open at .12 in draw down, what im trying to work out, when the trades at .15 open what my margn level will be and what do i need to look for.Normally take my trading in my stride but I have never had a 40% DD before and to be honest I didnt expect it be this large but that is my naivety.

Go out for a couple of hours and all hell breaks loose!We were so close and my DD today as gone from it's lowest 7% back upto 35%, what a day.Heres praying and fingers /legs crossed again.

Hi FugheIts looking better but still in the short positions on the eur and gbp/usd. They need to come down by another 40 pips before they tP so still hanging in there. Only one long position on gbp /usd but a minimum trade.01Hoping these soon tp so we can move on

Hi AllQuick question and advice please: My account is in sterling and aprox figures are showingBalance 2124 Equity 1820 Free margin : 1744 Margin level 2375.04% currently approx -£291 in open tradesWith the eur /usd and gbp/usd in DD should i be concerned with this, or is my margin level still looking ok. Eur usd set at 2 Gbp set at 1. I'm Alpari uk 1:500 leverageThanks for your advice
