Thanks for joining.I understand what you both @kflallan @hlau are trying to explain, however in my experience, I'm not trying to put in the balance if a particular DD is good or bad: we all know the answer. My point is, that , if I look at my balance - not just my equity - I conclude that, when my DD has fallen significantly, my balance was still positive, holding around my initial capital's level.Do you know what I mean? I know most of us really like to keep our stats pretty: not just for ego, but also to see how well we're performing. I am one of those people. However, as soon as I started using Myfxbook, I realized that one of the common indicators, the Drawdown (DD), is not properly interpreted by most of us. I've read here in the forums many people arguing that "you're a bad trader if you're DD is high" and so on; it's not that I want to excuse myself - I've like 99% DD - but, in my case, that number was caused during the Scottish referendum when a lot of volatility affect...

I am not saying I can, because I still have to wait 1 year until I claim: it is possible. But, as today, during last 4 months, my gains were 18.94%, 27.63%, -1.17% and 38.64%. I hope the trendline stays the same - up -.I am against all "money management" / SL bullsh*t. I use psychological SL and protective trades - hedging -. It works for me. I am really tired of reading "use SL! do money management!".... when I did that, I lost money, consistently. When I'm against the crowd, I win, also consistently. I hope I can keep this way, I'm doing the best I can.

I have done 77% in less than 3 months, using support/resistance and breakout strategy, without sl but using psychological sl and hedging sometimes. It works for me.
