you can download the trade protector 1.2 ea from here:http://codebase.mql4.com/6057i am using this settings:log >> 0initialsl >> 500 trailingstop >> 5000 (set it large in order not to trail)threshold >> 5000the others are defaultthese settings are for 5 digit broker... for 4 digit brokers divide by 10

i agree Steve... for that reason i use trade protector ea.. the ea sets 50 pips sl to each trade of growboth... it doesn't affect the trading method but saves the trades in case the ea can't close them or any failure occurs to the terminal or vpsit would be nice to have this security sl programmed in the ea...

IcyHot,i guess that the reason for the different trades is that your ea started to trade today or you has closed the trades from last week manuallyi suggest to let the robot play and don't close trades manually

Haitrader,opening a short trade in a long trend may accour if you have closed some trades manually before and that you didn't restarted the mt4 terminal after thatyou should always restart if closing trades manually

i guess it is a trade context issue because 1 trade left open on one of my real acc.i cheked the log and found a trade context error at the same time when it should have been closedi am waiting for forexgrowthbot's answer... the trades on their website and on myfxbook stat are different as wellthey should use exact stop loss instead of just closing the trades by the robotwhat happens if a fast price movement occours and the robot can't close the trades bacause of requote?adding sl to the trades wouldn't a big programming task i guessforexgrowthbot, pls answer...

sonny,it's not a solution to close the trades manually... why do you use trading robot if you make decision yourself?the ea should open and close trades and i should trust iti don't understand - why are so big differences in trades on the same broker, same vps, same default setting?- why the ea opened 2 trades against the trend which didn't happened before?forexgrowthbot,pls explain...

gb opened 2 orders against the trend... strange... it never did like this before... 1 of them is 3x lot sizewhy did it?

according to the stat on www.forexggrowthbot.com the trades were closed yesterday at 18:20... strangei am not sure that the ea manages the trades... it should use fixed stop loss... so we could see what is happening

i didn't have long time vps outages but it happens once in a month...fxgrowthbot,this month's profit is less then it was in november... it is because of the market conditions or did you change something in parameters?

fxgrowthbot,i see that the robot has dinamically calculated sl & tp but i can't see the sl & tp value at the history... it means that the robot closes trades automatically without sl & tp at order opening... big price movements can cause big losses if my vps crashesand the ea doesn't handle open orderswhat do you think about it?

i see on your acc. that this ea doesn't use real sl... it could be dangerous when vps crashes...am i right?
