Well I just tried to sell another 10 lots.. sold 10 and still got 43k margin and 10 lots only covers 8k margin and it doesn't allow me??? Yes my one position is already in profit as well in case you think it was losing.. any ideas???

I haven't gotten any offquotes yet but I am having trouble with opening an order on XAG ... but I just realised the position sizing of XAG is different than currencies which is solely what I'm used to. So that's my bad.
Still getting a "too many requests" error when my scripts run... the order opens but without a TP or SL set. Strange.

Wow, after a quick chat with some people from FXCM I actually believe they where providing a high quality service. What a joke !

- Low spread, alright, BUT i just got a 10 pips slippage on EURUSD. I don't know FXCM liquidy provider but they can't be premium one.
Having such a gap in price on the EU in 2014 is just unacceptable. I work with several (good) brokers from years now I NEVER had anything like this (at least not on major currencies pairs) and it's actually my first trade on FXCM.

What in the world?! I get off-qoutes and invalid price!!!! and this is on a demo?? I wonder what it will be with live account.. I hope they fix it.

Anyone trading 1 lots? I'm trading 8 lots and I'm really getting alot of "Off-Qoutes" and "Invalid Price" .. Should I trade smaller lots?

You may get an "off quotes" or "invalid price" message if the order price requested is no longer within your specified Maximum Deviation tolerance. Maximum deviation allows you to limit slippage on a trade, but the smaller maximum deviation is set the more likely the order might be rejected especially if prices are moving quickly.
I would suggest increasing the maximum deviation amount when placing the order. For example increasing the figure to 10 would allow 1 pip deviation. You can set the default max deviation size by navigating to Tools > Options > Trade at the top of the MT4 platform and setting a default amount. Remember that the MT4 platform is displaying amounts in fractional pips, so an amount of 1 would be 0.1 pips. An amount of 10 would be 1.0 pips.
It's worth noting that FXCM's MT4 platform is unique. We have enhanced the functionality of the Maximum Deviation feature of the platform, so that it only limits negative slippage, but not positive slippage. That means regardless of how high or how low you set your Maximum Deviation tolerance, your order will always get filled at the best available price from the liquidity providers and receive the full benefits of any positive slippage that's available.

All of the majors are available to trade in the contest demo. The demo contains all 57 currency pairs available in live accounts and 24 CFD products (not available for US residents in a live account). If you're not seeing the entire list, please right click anywhere over the Market Watch window and select 'Show All' to ensure the entire list is being displayed.

Well just got another 5k after playing around but again same problem... still not selling yet plenty of margin.... instead of 10 lots tried 5 and it didn't go through straight way eventually did... then tried another 5 lots with plenty of margin and it rejected it... strange... but its not working wondering if others having same problem??? my 5 lot as well surrendered a few pips just to get it.. and then it was delayed lol

I have traded 30 lots of USD/JPY 4 times, if you cannot place order from graph, place it from menubar above.
