Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Giannis (or John) Christopoulos, and I am from Kalamata, Greece. I am 45 years old, a retired public sector employee, and my hobby is programming. For the past eleven years, I have been exclusively focused on automating strategies for forex trading. Through diligent observation of historical charts, I discovered a recurring bar pattern in the forex market that appears after every moderate to significant economic announcement, indicating the trend direction for the upcoming period.

Based on this discovery, I developed a fully automated strategy, which I extensively tested in a simulation environment using the latest programming technology, the Meta Trader 5 platform, and data from the leading brokerage firm XM.com.
It is a Forex multi-currency (34 in total Major, Minor and SGD pairs from Exotic) fully automated strategy, which has been back-tested from 2008 to 2023, passing all Great Economic Crises with success.
Based on a popular pattern, Railway Track Pattern, Price Action, Fibonacci sequence, my strategy has a maximum Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 120%, a reward / risk ratio of 1.20, and 55% profitable trades, by compounding profit.


In early 2024, the brokerage firm Instaforex approached me through my website, offering to fund my strategy with $10,000. In the six months that my strategy has been running on a live account (https://www.myfxbook.com/members/giannis/funded-instatrader/10605583), it has already achieved an average return of 4% per month.
A logical question would be how confident I am. My Expert Advisor (Robot) is based on Price Action and a popular Bar Pattern Formation, not on indicators. The difference lies in the following: Indicators placed on charts vary from broker to broker because they depend not only on price movement but also on the trading volume of each broker. In contrast, my method, the Bar Pattern Formation of hourly charts, is exactly the same to the millimeter, from Yahoo to the most unreliable broker, which gives me the advantage of being able to simulate it over previous years with 100% accuracy.
Having completed the automated strategy and compared 65 trades executed in a real environment (Real/Live Trading Data) with new back-tests for the same dates (2024), the results are 100% accurate!
