Partial profit talking is good if you are a long term trader and have a big profit target. Then you can take a partial profit of your trade. But if you are a short term trader and profit target is maximum 40 to 50 pips or so, taking partial profit is not a good idea. You should rather develop your skills for more accurate trading. It's just my opinion. Every trader should have his own trading style.

I think proper risk reward ratio help traders to success in trading.

Trader need to have a realistic expectation in trading. However, most of the new traders come to the market with unrealistic expectation. Then they feel miserable.

Trading the 1 hour and 4 hour. at the start of the month I just go for 1:1 till I have my monthly profit target. after that I reduce my risk and take half of the profit at 1:1 and let the rest run.

Yes, I use this formula it is a very good system. The system can make a lot of profit.

I do this for every trade. once it hits 80% of my target i remove 50% and then move my stop loss to break even

Why do you do that. You are basically entering 2 trades one with a SL at 80% and the other at 100%. Better to just pick the optimum exit rather than two that are sub optimal
