You're probably trying to trade a symbol which isn't available (in case you're using a platform of a different broker.
Close all charts and open a new one from the symbol list or from the menu.

Does your ea show info on the chart? Mine should be showing a ton of information but all I have is the smiley face.

I had the same thing. But now it shows all info. Use the ECN forex charts.
I first delete my chart. Closed the platform. Copied my original EA over the EA in the Expert map. Opened the platform. Opened the ECN forex chart I want to use and added the EA again.

Not working for me either (I can not place an order), have no idea what to do, i reinstalled the platform, closed and reloaded the charts, doesn't work... not the best impression right now...

my ea hasn't placed a trade yet, but I am on ECN Demo DC1 fxpro90, also I am using the chart EURUSD and not one of the EUR_ask charts

Same here, I cannot place any orders. I've reinstalled, closed all charts, reopened. Not using any ea's, just trying to place a market order. There is no option when right clicking the chart for "new order". If i go to the "tools" menu I see the option for new order, but whenever I click it, it only gives me the option of selecting 4 different metals, and it won't let me enter a trade for any of them.

bestdarngood, I am currently using the "ask" charts... how do I bring up the normal EURUSD chart? I don't see that option on this platform? that could be my issue but can't figure it out... I am also on DC1
