Things with Tom's normalized and now everything is working fine, looks like everyone's out on a holiday, maybe all people went to Malibu or something :)

still here :)

I'm not using G/U, E/J (wild ones when their periods come) & A/NZ (wide spread).

Seems a right number at RL6 for me. :) All the best!

When I modified my RL setting the other day I noticed a new setting... 'liquidation' Does anyone know what this does? I am thinking it might be a nice way to allow the EA to shut you out of a pair completely. Anyone?

I ran this on a demo account since Nov. Good results, except when the market picks a direction and sustains that direction for some time. It seems once the EA makes a bet in one direction, it will continue to increase the bet, hoping for eventual reversal; denying itself the opportunity to recognize a change in the market. Since mid Jan, I have tried closing all trades once reaching a 2% gain and restarting the next day. So far, this has worked quite well. Hey, I'm just sayin.

Doh, two 600 pippers closed out - EUR/JPY - wiped out 1/2 of the profit since day 1 - and still holding 20% drawdown

Hi All

Well looks like I'm finishing Feb with a 0.43% gain! Could be worse, at least I have not made a loss. Didn't make enough to pay the monthly bill, but will see what happens at the end of March before I decide anything.

Is anyone else trading with an account with over 100K. If so what pairs and RL are you using. I'm currently running TEA on the Euro, Pound and the CAD all on RL 2.

The reason I ask is on the website it states 'Please contact support for pairs/RL for accounts over 100K'... now I did that and the reply I got is to add the EUR/GBP at RL 2 to my mix. In other words... the same pairs and RL as thier original MyFxBook account.

Thoughts?

Personally.... I' happy with 3 pairs and a total RL of 6. Was just curious.

Have you demo-ed sufficiently (i.e seen enough of the drawdowns for each) on such amount in different pairs?

If not, it's best to stick ttheir recommendations for now, while checking out yourself in a safe way. 😄

Moreover, that amount would give a decent monthly income while you're at it 😎

I have received this email from the developers of another EA I use.

It would appear the new build of MT4 could cause problems on ALL EAs. Not sure if it could cause problems to Tomsea too.

Ivan?

Over the weekend, Metaquotes released an update to MT4. This update is Build 416 dated March 6, and was to replace Builds 406 through 414.

If you haven't already, DO NOT UPDATE TO Build 416. If the Live Update window appears, simply click on the Close box in the top right corner to stop the update.

Unfortunately this update has broken the links (or at best, messed them up) to the DLL files which allow communication between the EAs, and MetaTrader. This is entirely out of our control until Metaquotes repairs the update. At this stage we don't know when that might be. In the meantime, those who haven't as yet updated don't have to do anything - your strategies will run correctly. For those of you who have already updated to Build 416, the best thing to do is install a new MT4, but don't start the update process when the Live Update window appears. This has to be checked with your broker.

If you are unsure what Build you are using, open MT4 and click on Help > About. The Current Build number will be displayed. If you have any problems, please contact support from your broker.

@Lorenzo - Well, our EA seems to be working fine under latest update, it returned me 'invalid login' upon startup of MT4, I've re-attached it and now it seems to be working as expected.

Just to be completely safe - stay away from this update for now, but people who's already updated - don't panic, it seems to be ok.

If there would be any possible issues with Ea's performance we will surely notify everyone

Echo what Ivan said.
Unusually for me, I decided to break normal practice and updated last night on VPS and all machines. Rebooted and have observed no obvious issues. All trades running as one would expect.
Still, sound advice to stay clear until the v416 update all-clear's received.

You have Balance $29764

Eu RL2 first trade 0.05 Lots
Gu RL2 first trade 0.05 Lots
EG RL1 first trade 0.03 Lots
UC RL1 first trade 0.03 Lots

I have a Ibfx Au demo with a $ 29800 balance. Same pairs and same RL but Eu and GU first Lots are 0.06. Can anybody explain why?
Best wishes

@Elovv - EA calculates lotsize on quite simple formula, I believe I've posted it there some time ago. Main thing is that it rounds up received value accordingly to math rules ( 0.056611 ~ 0.06 , while 0.053115 ~ 0.05 ) most likely some small difference in deposit are causing this difference in lots
