In a recent news we heard that Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka is the latest celebrity to get bitten by the cryptocurrency bug. She was intrigued by the cryptocurrency after she read about Dogecoin (DOGE). Dogecoins was created as a joke on Bitcoin and the poke can be interpreted from the meme dog as the icon of the currency. Shiba Inu is a Japanese dog that appears as the logo of the coin and was a famous meme at that time. The technology used and the unlimited supply of the currency accompanied with the consumer-friendly version, more adaptable and faster characteristics made it a better version of Bitcoin. https://kalkinemedia.com/definition/d/dogecoin . Dogecoin is not a joke anymore and its value increased by more than thousand fold in 2021.

@JohnSmithK I strongly disagree on that , i find doge a mere copy of btc with a lil bit of tweaks here and there. DOGE clearly has no fundamentals and is merely used for pump and dump by celebrities and influencers . I think it's a waste of both money and technology. I guess LTC is a better alternative to BTC than DOGE.

Doge nowadays is still considered to be a perspective crypto, however it is in a strong dependance from bitcoin and Musks' statements. That's why it's very risk to trade doge today. It loses its advantage which it had in the past, but there are some chances that it will start rising again. Some of the analysts claim that it can easily rise up to a dollar, but I doubt that it will happen until the end of this year. The only hope is on altcoins, which are considered to be much more perspective in the next years. However, everybody decides by himself whether trade doge or not.

What is the reason for increasing the value of doge coin? What does Bitcoin have to do with this?

now that Doge can be traded on some crypto platforms then its appeal to some could be a lot grater. also there are many that like it due to the musk backing but to be honest if you do your homework on the workings and background of doge then there are many others out there much better such as SOL or LUNA

Naomi Osaka is one of the most successful tennis players in the world. She is the first Japanese player to win a Grand Slam singles title and the first player from Asia to hold the world number one ranking in women's tennis. In February 2019, she signed a multi-year endorsement deal with Japanese telecommunications company NTT DoCoMo. In March 2019, she became the first Japanese player to be featured on the cover of Time magazine.
In April 2019, she announced that she was investing in cryptocurrency, specifically in the Dogecoin (DOGE) cryptocurrency. Osaka said that she was intrigued by Dogecoin after she read about it and was interested in its technology and the unlimited supply of the currency. She also said that she liked the consumer-friendly version of Dogecoin and its faster characteristics.

Looking at how the price of the Dodge changes from the words of Alon Mask, it becomes obvious that this coin is not supported by any foundation. There are very serious risks that most of those who have invested in this coin will lose everything they have invested. A bearish trend will collapse many accounts.
Your post is so scary but somewhat true also. The amount I invested has become half now, but I am still hopeful and going to hold on.
