A Tabela de Taxas de Juro Mundiais apresenta as taxas de juro atuais nos principais países do mundo, conforme estabelecido pelos seus respetivos bancos centrais.
An economy's health is generally reflected in interest rates, as in optimal conditions, Central Banks would raise rates while the economy is expanding, to battle inflation and reduce interest rates in order to stimulate an economy that is deflating.
When an interest rate is increased, it discourages borrowing and encourages saving which eventually slows down the economy (since less money is spent) and thus decreasing inflation. Exactly the opposite happens when interest rates are decreased to stimulate and boost the economy.
Actual rates, the most recent policy changes, and the dates of upcoming meetings/decisions are all included in the table for the major economies. The table is updated on a daily basis.
