There is no specific time that you need to learn trading forex. It varies from trader to trader. You better focus on getting in-depth knowledge of the market instead of worrying about the times used for learning.
I completely agree with you.

It depends actually on your prsonal abilities, opportunities and how much time you're ready to dedicate to learning. The more time you're up to dedicate the faster will be your learning process. Don't forget that learning is always should be combined with practicing, like theory plus practice. I suppose that everything is quite individual here and no one knows how much xcatly does learning takes. Some traders handle learning for about couple of months, others decide to learn and to trade simultaneously, however I'm not fond of such approach because you just blow your head by these scheme.

Learning , patience is really important issue that we cannot ignore , but all attempts will fail until making a real trading discipline. I have seen many time, despite of good market experience someone cannot make profit with consistency due to lacking only discipline. So from all, I emphasis on

You should never stop learning if you want to gain consistent and decent profits. Market is constantly changing, so in order to keep up with it, you've got to learn every day, otherwise your vision or methods may become outdated and this will never bring you any rewards. Therefore I feel that one cannot fully understand the movements of the market, there is always room for improvements.

Exactly, I believe that even if a trader encounters loss in forex trading then instead of giving up he should learn from his mistakes in order to not repeat it further.

I'm not sure you ever stop learning. Bit of a cop out answer but as you are probably alluding to to be competent trader again it is hard to say. It depends how you take to it, if you are learning the right way for your personality, how much time you have to learn and practice etc
If you can't spot the liquidity then you are the liquidity.

It will typically take on average around 1 year for someone to learn to trade forex. The technical side can be learned within a few weeks, but the risk management and psychology will take around a year to come to grasp. The majority of traders give up before ever learning to consistently trade the markets.
