Can you leave Forex Trading?

It all depends on whether you make money on Forex. If trading brings you profit, then why throw it away, especially if trading is very comfortable for you. This question is more suitable for people who, without understanding the trade, started trading in a real account and now are constantly in losses. For such people, I can advise you to pay more attention to the demo account, test new trading strategies, and gain more experience. This will surely help them avoid losses in the future.

No. I can't. It becomes a part and parcel of my life. And I enjoy to trade in the forex market.

The way I see it, you either leave it in the very beginning if you take a few losses and you are not persistent enough to keep going, or you stay for the long haul. :)

Well now forex has become a part of my life, somewhat like an addiction that even on holidays I miss trading forex.

I'm new on Forex and lost 6000... and I don't refill my deposits more.. I was ready to loose at the beginning.. I told to myself:' You will loose, you must pay for knowledge and experience'. But I stopped to jogging, Scandinavian walking..I stopped to read usual books and I read and watch about trading only .. I sleep very bad and cant sleep without sleeping pills.. And when I sleep - I dream only about Forex.. I think I am crashing my health... I think I must stop... I just still have money on my account and I loose them and increase their number again and cant finish still..... I think many traders live like that... But not everybody speak truth to...
I hope I will find strengths to over it at last..
This is a real depending for usual people, although it is a business, not a casino..... I think it is a business for professionals only, but very hard business..

I am sorry to say this, but I don't think forex trading is for you. The fact that you lost that much without counter thinking of using your risk and money management is such a bad idea. And you are losing your health over it, not worth it.

I think for someone like me who quit job to become a full time forex trader cant even think about leaving forex , I mean this is what gets me my cheese and ketchup.

Youre addicted. Just like gambling, drugs or alcohol. You are not the mythical 0.0001% who they say 'make it'. Youre not special. Admit it. Thats the first step.
Forex is a minus-sum game, you must find another, even slightly healthier game. That's going to be stocks. Try to trade less, adjust your mentality to slow investing rather than gambling.

That’s true, similar to the way that people continue gambling after winning something, up until they lose their winnings. I trade as a way to bring in extra income and while there are other options out there to make money from home, I don’t think any of them could be as flexible or lucrative. On the other hand, quitting could be easy for a beginner that has just blown their account and realized that they didn’t spend enough time learning.

There are some traders who don't want to leave trading activity mainly because they can possibly earn money here. I believe that people always should do something in their life which brings them not only money but also happiness and understanding that you do your favorite activity. It's kinda difficult to find such an activity of which you will be passionate, nevertheless everybody must try various activities. If you don't like trading, then you should leave it because you won't be able to earn money if you have no wish to do it. So, everything is individual. Some traders are eager to run this activity, while others aren't.
