Hi! SL - this is the way to lose your deposit. It is created by market makers, and serves only to them! The position can be and should be kept indefinitely, as long as it does not bring profits. 😉

According to 'statistics' 95% of traders lose money, and most of it has nothing to do with the broker or trading platform but the traders' strategies. Most scalping systems eventually lose. It is important to hold on as long as possible with predetermined SL and TP zones.

I keep trades open for days sometimes but I trade on the daily charts too. My Stoploss is usually set at a 70 pip stop loss. I will keep a winning trade open as long as I keep making profit off of the daily trend. So far my longest trade I think is 8 days. However it also netted me 188 pips.
