We can use the myfxbook API to get the current Community Outlook data. If you click on any instrument, you get a detailed view with graph over time. Using the daily chart, this data can stretch back a few years. So, the data exists somewhere on the myfxbook servers and displayed on the graph using Flash Player, but I would like to download for use in a spreadsheet. Is there any way to use the API or some other method for downloading this historical data for 'Short Lots' and 'Long Lots' by chart bar? Even if this was a premium service with a monthly charge, I would be interested.

Official word I got from myfxbook is that you can display the data on your chart with the paid version of their indicator but you can not download any data for any time frame. They have no plans to make it downloadable.

But how do you use the data 'Community Outlook'?

i guess people use the information in many different ways. It’s up to each person to decide how to use it. I have my own methods.
